I'm so excited for this I just wish she had done this earlier in her career. Being a 37 year old female pop star won't help her chances at getting her songs played on American radio. Atleast she doesn't look her age.

Her music already has heavy Western influences as it is so this could work. If anything I hope she tours stateside so I can finally see her live!

Yea, but it's never actually been released in the US. From the article it seems that she's just up for a new challenge in her life. After being in the J-Pop industry for her teen years, twenties and thirties I bet she's tired of the same routine and wants something new to chase.

I only hope she does better than Hikki and BoA. And the disaster that was that GG american debut with The Boys...

We already know that asian acts are only accepted when they're funny or viral like PSY and his success didn't even last that much... but I hope she comes with quality instead of doing an album just to be accepted on American radio. She has the talent, the looks and her songs are such good bops.
