Someone from a J-Pop forum I frequent translated the article:
Quote:
According to the article, she's rumored to prepare for an American debut. Warner Music has allegedly made her a great offer and she's set to move to LA with her staff to focus on her American activities. Apparently, she's even bought a house in LA.
She's supposed to be training hard to learn the latest dancing trends and to be touring the Hollywood shows in order to incorporate the latest technologies (big CG screens etc.) in her tours.
She is very conscious of Hikki's failure to break America even though she was born there and fluent in English. With that in mind, she's taking intensive English lessons. She's not in a "I want to break America and be successful at all costs" state of mind, but more in a "let's try and challenge myself" one.
She plans on making a big comeback in Japan after getting new experiences in America with a national tour starting with a Kouhaku appearance

For those unfamiliar with her she's a legend in Japan whose career has spanned an impressive three decades. She has a list of accomplishments that I'd be here all day if I listed them but she's one of the highest selling acts of all time in Japan with a total of 34 million records sold in Japan alone.
