Grammy Producer: P!nk's performance will be remembered
So if it weren't for him the GRAMMYs would have missed the BEST performance ever

I had a tough time pushing the P!nk “Glitter in the Air” number, though I had seen it and I knew what it was. But it was not a popular choice. Basically, all I said was, “Trust me. People are going to be talking about this for 10 years.” And six or seven years later, they still are—it was just an amazing performance. And I do believe that in our own way we each do bring some subjective judgment to the show. I think we are able to go a little farther afield than the other shows. We take more chances. Maybe not more chances than MTV with the VMAs. They used to be remarkable. There were things on that show that I could never do on our show.

He's right tho. While I'm not big on the song as one of my least favorites from Funhouse, it is a performance that no one forgets, and certainly one of the most iconic in GRAMMY history.
it was a magical, breathtaking and timeless performance. very legendary and i agree: it will be remembered in decades to come as one of the most standout performances.
glad that she performed it at the grammys. i was lucky enough to have seen it during her funhouse tour and it was a great experience! it's amazing how she can reach every single audience member with her performances and her voice. glitter in the air is also my favorite song from funhouse, so it was beautiful to see that she put so much work into performing it.
It's interesting that it has become her "iconic performance" or moment so far into her career. But I think that performance helped people see P!nk as a force.
