Discussion: Did Rihanna take inspiration from Beyoncé?

Please don't make this another Rihanna vs Beyoncé stanwar. I want to genuinely see what ATRL thinks regarding this matter.

A fellow Hive made a very good point about Rihanna seemingly getting inspiration from Beyoncé. Here are just a few examples:

In October 2014, Beyoncé and Topshop partnered to form a new activewear range
In December 2014, Rihanna and Puma partnered to a form a new Women’s Training Category (the same as activewear )
In 2008 Beyoncé formed her own company Parkwood Entertainment (named after a place in her hometown of Houston)
Rihanna now has Westbury Road Entertainment, named after a place in her hometown of Barbados
Beyoncé surprise released her new music digitally in the night
Rihanna surprise released her new music digitally in the night

Is it getting obvious? Or is it just coincidence? What are your thoughts?

This is unclear. There’s a difference between an imprint, a label and an entertainment company. Parkwood is a fully-functional entertainment company with an actual office , actual employees, and successful projects.
