Student Isolated for Dying Her Hair in Support of Avril

A straight-A student at Halewood Academy in Liverpool UK, Ellie Douglas, 15, has her hair colored blue during the holidays. However after her first day going back to school, she was taken to the side and was asked to remove her hair dye in 24 hours time. Last Friday, with her hair still blue, the school told her that she'll be placed in isolation not unless she have her hair back to its natural color.
Ellie just said, "It's really stressful. Even though it's a Christmas present I've compromised. I'm quite angry and upset that the school won't compromise with me."
