I'm a little out of the loop (not had my laptop all weekend) so sorry if this has been spoken about a million times but just to catch up: this is definitely the lead from R8 and not Home right? Any news about the video? Sent to radio etc?
Yes; it's R8's lead and has a radio deal. No official word on a video yet.
Cute song, but still disappointed. Only doing this good because of the names. Anyway i'm sure she has better songs on her album, so i'm waiting for them
It's a bit falling on iTunes i see, but I think when they're gonna play the song a lot on the radio, the sales will rise again... But it's still amazing!

Of course. No one is releasing the best song as a first single.
Finally passed UF on Canada iTunes. Imagine Dragons - Shots is still #1 though, it's charting due to the album pre-order. It's gonna start freefalling soon but even that's gonna take a while before FFS can be #1.

Top 10 on iTunes in all the big markets.
Her biggest lead over a #2 song is in Norway. They've always been stanning hard. I've looked through the bars and it seems that the song is still stabilizing in Europe. I hope it can hold up until Rihanna promotes over there.
A great review. I get why some might be disappointed, but I like I said from the beginning I love the fact that she went out on a limb here and released a song she never made before as her lead.
Quote:
it sounds nothing like what’s on Top 40 radio. It’s not your bubble-gum pop anthem that you will expect everyone to sing to, nor is it the track that you’d expect the DJs to play multiples times in nightclubs. It’s not a boisterous urban track along the lines of ‘Pour It Up’. It’s a far cry from anything we’d expect from her, which makes it great in its own right. With 13 #1 hits to her name, Rihanna surely isn’t starving for another hit.
Will the risk pay off? We have to wait and see… (But so far so good)
