I mean, only 4 new female artists have 2 country radio T10s this century, with two of them using their reality show fame and one of them flopping after her first album.
Even just being able to be a smash artist on country as a woman is incredibly impressive for this woman.
And then writing a whole album by herself, after dozens of songs that were at least co-written; I mean, how many women in the industry have that confidence even if they're way older than Taylor is?
And then going full pop when so many haters claimed she'd lose all her country audience and her album would flop.
I mean, plz girls.

This.
Throughout Taylor's Country music, she never resorted to working with the hit writers or producers. She literally stuck by her original demo producer to produce her albums, and her longtime co-writer. Then, following the big success of Fearless, she released her 3rd album written COMPLETELY by herself...one producer, no co-writers.
She branched out into a different genre with Pop, risking having Country fans turn their backs on her (many of them have). She tried even more new things with 1989, leaving Country completely for this album (the genre she's had so much support and success in throughout her career).
She took all of her music off of Spotify, a huge streaming service that a lot of people use as their primary source of music.
