Folk pop isn't really that bad honestly, but I'm scared that if the whole album is folk pop then all the songs will have kind of the same vibe to it. I wish she made EDM-folk, or EDM-rock. But honestly, Hilary's at her best when she makes pure pop.

It's pretty obvious that things are still being figured out and plans keep changing so there's no use updating until things are set in stone anyway. Silence is probably the best policy at this point since she knows fans hang on every word and get upset when plans change.

Well said. I'd rather know when things are set in stone and Hilary won't say anything until they are. I just hope she attends the Grammy's next week and we get an update of where the album is at and why it has been delayed.

While I agree that she shouldn't go into specifics, it'd be nice to be kept in the loop once in a while. While I LOVED that she revealed to us that she's currently reading a script(s) for a film, I also think it left some people antsy about the current state of her music. It'd be nice if we got an update soon on if the Sweden thing is happening.

I think I may have already said this here but I would CACKLE if she attended an event and they asked her about her album and she said "I'm about halfway done" again.

And yeah I agree it's tricky when she DOES just drop tidbits about what she's working on but then fans have to wrack their brains filling in the blanks. It would be nice to know a little more but I trust that there's good reasons for things being quiet and will continue to be patient. I just try to keep perspective, like we waited 6 years for a new single and survived (barely) so I can hang on for a few more months 😂

Very nicely said! I think we also need to put ourselves in her shoes and mindset. As much as it is for us not to know what's going on, it has to be that much harder for her to keep stuff from us.

January seemed like a more an extended relaxation month, besides GG parties and meeting with Andre (possible Matthew koma). We have to remember she did spend the last part of last year working. Let's hope February more productive and possibly involve a trip to Europe

It was so huge and slayed TRL too.

Now sis... You know she technically started her music career in 2002 and technically returned from hiatus in the middle of last year. But not her hiatus pretty much being as long as her music career was initially.
