My only minor complaint is that the vocals sound dated sometimes (more notably, for me, on Exodus which is weird because it came later). I imagine I'll form a more concrete opinion over the next several days of listening to nothing but Utada.
omg imagine listening to her discog for the first time in the early naughts. Is there even a rating past 10/10??? My 13 year old self wouldn't have been able to process it.
Earlier today, I was talking to my brother about how brilliantly simple I thought Taylor Swift was for removing her new music from YouTube was. If you look up any of the songs from 1989 on the site, you'll be met with nothing but live performances, interviews, covers, and lyric videos that are either silenced or replaced with generic sample music. That way, the only ways you could hear the singles are through their music videos, and the album tracks through iTunes previews, or by looking through random sites (which would be a struggle for most people tbh).
Ah, that's why loose's recent 2 videos have a lot of views and now it just all seems so unimpressive to me.
