The Voice UK contestant Esmée Denters has admitted that she was "angry and confused" after being dropped from her record label.
"I think at the moment when I got dropped I was sort of angry for a long time and very confused," she told Digital Spy.
"People don't really know what it's like unless you go through it, and when I went through it was the darker side of the music industry. A lot of the time you just see the glamorous things and you just see what's popular. You don't see how much work goes into these things."
Denters admitted that she found it tough because she wasn't told what was happening with her record deal but just felt "like the label didn't want to make another album".
She continued: "I was very lucky – I was handed stuff on a silver platter when I first started out, and the reality is a lot of people have to play in every little pub and they have to work their ass off. I think the people that just keep going no matter what – I think those are the people eventually that win.

She was. I know she meant it as a joke but she came across as rude when she said she respected Will and Rita and called Tom a legend then laughed at Ricky and said he was trying to flirt with her.
I just watched this weekends episode. It's crazy that she went from touring and collaborating with Justin Timberlake to working in a frozen yoghurt store..
Unfortunately I just don't think that she has any star quality. Outta Here was and still is a jam though!

You need to get a sense of humor then cause it was very clear to be banter, no hard feelings.
