That second remix needs to get sent to radio. It gives the original some oomph and anthemic sound that the original is lacking. It follows in the current trend of a retro sounding instrumental, but still does not sound like anything on radio.
people here want rihanna to fail so bad but it's only been about a day since the song came out lol. let those who love it love it, and those who don't - don't. but the song will be successful lol. it's not my favorite but i bought it because i stan and i do like it, it's just a grower

This is a really good song. I am not into Rihanna that much so I could see why people, that were probably be hoping for a smash hit, are dissapointed but that doesn't mean this song is bad. It's really good. It feels good, Paul McCartney does a great job imo, so does Ye. It reminds me of the songs my dad likes, The Beatles and stuff.

Omfg ok that Lido Sunday Service remix saves it.....I'm gonna make that the official version on my iTunes.....cuz I've given the original version several listens and it's still lackluster.....I love her vocals though! I just wished it went somewhere..,and I'm not talking about making it ratchet or EDM....she's done much better downtempo songs before which were up to par....she's set the bar high for herself.....so this song doesn't fit the bill for quality of music for her....I'm hoping that this is just a buzz single or that it grows on me eventually....
The second remix is everything, I'm dl-ing it and putting it on my ipod. It really showcases how uneventful the original is, an that is, imo, the biggest problem; when you reflect on the song, you can only remember that damn strumming pattern and chorus-ish, it fails to to catchyour attention.

Paul McCartney is at his worst for several decades tho. 99% of his solo projects are just tragic. But tbh, most of his solo written Beatles songs aint that good either with a few exceptions like the brilliant Eleanor Rigby.
Finally a lead single not written for the charts.
