Intersectionality was a major theme of his discussion, and Cox noted it was important to recognize all of the aspects that shape a person’s identity and affect their standing in society.
“I hope [his message] will encourage people of all backgrounds to express themselves openly,” said freshman Bryce Cracknell. “I can now list Roderick Cox as one of my favorite people.”
ummm.....it's really disrespectful to refer to a trans person as their dead name, as well as putting their preferred name in quotes as if it's a nickname....
