50 Cent is planning to release two albums this year, the hip-hop mogul has revealed.
The move follows in the same path as Eminem, who also recently announced that 2009 would see a second album after his comeback record 'Relapse'.
With Fiddy's long, long overdue 'Before I Self Destruct' album coming in June, that gives the G-Unit star just 6 months to deliver a follow-up.
"What they don't know... the new announcement is that I'm dropping two albums." 50 Cent tells MTV News. "I've had an opportunity to record since I thought I was releasing an album in December."
"But the portion of my record that I recorded with Dr. Dre was incomplete, because there was no opportunity to mix it."
"The only song that was mixed that I worked on with Dr. Dre is 'I Get It In' - that one is out now. It's cool, but I need the rest of them to be mixed before I can present my project to the public."
I used to like 50 a lot, but nowadays, no.
I bought "Curtis" and get soooo disappointed, that album is just garbage.
Those 2 new Songs "Get up" and "I get it in" are garbage too.
If he comes up with something like "In Da Club" "P.I.M.P." "Candy Shop" "Just a lil bit" or "Hate it or love it", I will def. buy those albums, those songs where my jams, but yeah, I think he's over...
