6 out of 9 people that died in that crash, excluding Aaliyah, died after the impact. Two of them were still alive when firefighters and doctors arrived. One of them was her bodyguard and he was even talking to them. He asked two things, "where's Aaliyah" and "can I have some water". He died the day after in hospital.

There are full reports about the crash on multiple aviation sites and boards. There are no pictures of the victims released or leaked,which is a great thing.

Why/how would she have been cremated when it is stated everywhere her full body was in a casket.Where did you get tthis info?

I thought it was common knowledge that she was in fact cremated. There is no way they kept her full body simply beacuse of the injuries that she sustained. The funeral home that was taking care of her body complained about how they argued with the family that they will not be able to make her look good enough for an open casket.There were some payment issues as well.

Although, it's weird how I can't find any links confirming this, so I'm not that sure anymore.

From what I've read years ago, her body was cremated once it was flown to New York from the Bahamas three days after the crash. The casket during the funeral had her ashes,not full body(which is obvious when you watch the footage and how the casket was carried).
