No, it's really not. There is a serious disconnect between young people and politics and what the Obama administration has been doing lately with social media is helping to bridge that gap. We live in the age of social media, and our politicians can't just ignore that if they want to maintain a healthy relationship with the youth. It has to be embraced.

Getting to minors is important too. If they don't have an awareness before they can vote, what makes you think they will be interested when they finally can vote? It's good to start somewhat young.
