roseave is a great side project, but that's it.

We're mostly pop/rock fans and here for her work that she has been doing since 2000 and we'll be all here for it in the future.

We're all used to P!nk standard album release with singles releases, promo, great performances, music videos, tour etc. so even with roseave released like only 3 months ago, it still feels little underwhelming and different.

Don't get me wrong. I like roseave. I like melodies, her voice and everything about it, but it's time for good old typical P!nk that we're all here for. However, I'm not asking for new record immediately, just some news, info. I want to know what future holds when it comes to her decisions and plans, becuase I don't want to stay on this forum waiting for something that may not happen in the near future.

I just hope that P!nk doesn't think in a way that she gave us that acoustic folk record and new album, so we'll be fine and settled for another year or two.

She has a signature sound and thats what we love. But it wouldn't hurt her to experiment with that sound or anything.

I still need that Jagged Little Pill album from ha.

^ i think i have another signature sound conception of hers than, say, fans that have only been around since 2006. and the "newer" sound, to me, got stale way too quickly. so i am hoping for more pre-2006 sounds that are spiced up with something entirely different and fresh.

i think that's pretty much it. there were more santa monica videos since they aired their entire concert on TV.

but i am more into the album being great than the promo stuff. i don't think rose ave. got old quickly. it's a whole lot better than TTAL and has much more replay value and is more timeless IMO. i think some people find it got old quick cause there wasn't the typical circus around it to remind them that they bought the album.

gotta say, love a colorful and long era, but at the end of the day, it's a great album that i want.

and i talked to someone just a couple of days ago about pink. he's a very casual fan and pretty much a radio listener. we were listening to jlap and i told him how much i loved her. he told me that he likes pink, but he finds her too repetitive and her music a little redundant. and many people think like that and don't bother getting the album cause they think it'll be same-old-same-old material on it.

after i told him that she also sings about other stuff with different kinds of music, he downloaded her albums to listen to them.

pink really needs to change up her single choices. we know that she wants to open an era with something different but her label doesn't really let her. well, she needs someone on her team that allows her to fail. otherwise she won't get rid of the IMO stale love/hate relationship "rock"/pop stigma she's caged in right now (not only for the casual listener).

I agree with all what you said Grenn. She really does need to spice it up a bit.

Its not the lyrics since she is one of the best lyrically in the industry. Its the PRODUCTION. Its stale. So so so so stale. Gone To California, Misery and Unwind >> For something still rockish and not repetitive, she needs to do a song like You Oughta Know or Ironic. Just an album with a lot of inspiration that isn't about her stupid husband (No shade to Cameron I love him). Like, WE GET IT. You fight a lot but you still love each other. REALLY COOL. That is AWESOME. Jesus

OH, and YES to her releasing her jlp. m!ss was always referred to being pink's jlp by critics back when the album came out. and i'd be more than glad if she did go back to that, only now being more grown-up and wiser (although it seems like she's always been wise, her lyrics are always great! when she doesn't repeat herself... so i guess she got less wise?? :/)

Jagged Little Pill was such a mature album too from a mature adult. M!ss was a mature album but it was that album breaking off from teenage hood into adult hood. A JLP of her own would make me cry

I'm glad someone feels the same way I do. But in reality, all fans are feeling this way.

I'm tired of looking at her Twitter everyday to see if she'll tweet something about a new album. And I'm tired of waiting for paparazzi pics to see if she's coming out of recording studios.

Unless she intentionally and strategically is over the 'Pop" thing and wants to become a more indie/acoustic artist, she NEEDS to release this year. Waiting another year or two to release a new record will hurt her popularity.
