America's Next Top Model' auditions lead to arrests in New York

A melee at the New York auditions for the CW series America's Next Top Model led to six injuries and three arrests Saturday, according to The New York Times. Witnesses told the paper that the fracas broke out when wannabe contestants' nerves were frayed by the disorganized conditions after they'd waited on the street overnight for a chance to try out for Tyra Banks' reality show. Three people were reportedly arrested for disorderly conduct, and two of the six injured were transported to the hospital. There is no word on their condition, and the remaining hopefuls were told in the early evening that the next day's auditions were canceled.

i can tell this was later on in the day cus barracades r there.. there WERE NO BARRACADES OR ANY KIND OF ORDER FROM 2 am- 8... and ppl had camped out from THURSDAY til ssatruday... nuts right?

my friend joan:A car ****ing broke down and caught on fire or something. I saw smoke. People started yelling, "BOMB!" So everyone started running and people were passing out and getting trampled. A few people got into fights and got arrested. I got it on tape And no, I didn't get picked. I was involved in the riot They shut the **** down.
