Mike Huckabee learned a valuable lesson on today's episode of The View: Hell hath no fury like a Beyoncé stan scorned.
One lucky member of the Beyhive got to sit on the panel today as The View received Mike Huckabee, who's still hawking that book he's been hawking.
Huckabee resumed admonishing Beyoncé's sexual expression, although this time he did it with more specificity than before (it's as if he's listening to the critiques and using them to sharpen his tools). This time he named actual songs that offend his delicate sensibilities: "She doesn't need to do songs like 'Partition' and 'Drunk in Love' in order to be an effective and an amazing talent."
Williams' rebuttal, per Gawker: "As someone who has definitely come up in a group with her, I just feel like that album and those songs is that one moment where she decided to probably do some songs she's always wanted to do to shed that 'I'm a good girl...' She had some freedom and she owned it and she took it, so I was definitely offended -- I'm not the Carter spokesperson."
She even went in, ever so gently, on Huckabee himself. "To hear some of those comments that you said, I thought were very, very, very low. I respect you and this is not to throw mud and tomatoes."
It amazes me how he says "she doesn't have to do those songs to show she's a talent", the fact that the way she wants to express herself doesn't even seem to matter. The idea that he has already implicated her as someone that should follow societal norms/standards because she's a woman is ridiculous.

Muah ha ha! I'm glad he's getting backlash so soon, thank you Beyonce for diminishing any chance he thought he had.
Now if his wife were to perform Partition to him every now and then we wouldn't have this issue, he's so backed up all you have to show him is the Partition single cover and he'd jizz his whitey tighteys.
