Only if it helps an album (like two CDs with different concepts)! Otherwise, they can be digital bonus tracks!

Yes. People always say shorter album, better album but those people can just make their own playlist as people don't always like the same songs.

Tinashe didn't do this. Aquarius has 12 songs on it, 6 of the tracks were interludes.
But either way, as long as the songs are good then the more the merrier...

Some people like to listen to albums as a cohesive body of work, not as a collection of songs.
