KESHA'S NEW SINGLE "TWILIGHT" AVAILABLE TO STREAM
694 WORDS

The brand new single from Kesha, "Twilight", is now available to stream on all major streaming services! The audio of Kesha's latest track has hit popular streaming outlets such as YouTube and Spotify, as well as a number of other sites. The song has already been a big hit on YouTube, with its audio-only video already being viewed over 10 million times on its first day of release. The YouTube stream of the song also includes links to purchase the song on iTunes, encouraging potential buyers to make the track their own.
The song has also quickly risen to be the #1 most streamed song on Spotify on its day of release, further indicating Kesha's new-found streaming power. Prior to the release of Twilight, Kesha's streaming power was minimal, having only one VEVO Certified video in her 2009 single "TiK ToK". Her 2013 single "Timber" with Pitbull however has managed to almost cross 500M views.
The song has also become a hit with Tumblr users, with one audio link having more than 2 million notes. Users of the social networking site famous for contributing to the success of artists such as Lana Del Rey and Marina And The Diamonds have praised the song, claiming, "Kesha's old music was ****. But her new song speaks to me. It must have been awful to be trapped in a prison-like contract, forever wanting to break free from the confines of her producer Dr. Luke. But like the spirit animal within, Kesha managed to leave the past behind her and was reborn with Twilight".
Other online buzz surrounding the song has praised its darker themes in comparison to her previous singles, and likened the song to a movie soundtrack effort, "The song could definitely fit in with one of the Twilight movies," commenter Alana Bradshaw proposed, "Kesha could further expand her career by delving into that area of film and television." Kesha has previously stated that she would be more than happy to record a soundtrack song, if it felt "right".
Social media has been on fire with the news of Kesha's latest track hitting iTunes and streaming services, with Twilight topping the Twitter Trending 140 Billboard chart, as well as Facebook trends. The majority of critics are praising Kesha's newest release, claiming, "It's so nice to see Kesha running the show for once. It's now clear to everyone to see that there was always so much more to Kesha than what met the eye back in 2010. She was restricted beyond measure, and now like a bird that's been freed from its cage, she's finally taking flight and showing the world what she's made of."
Kesha is yet to do any official promotion or interviews for her newest single Twilight, but the instant reaction has been overwhelming. It appears that this song is almost taking off by itself. However, Kesha plans to do several interviews and live performances to support the song in its release week, "I'll definitely be promoting," Kesha confirms, "The response has been so amazing, but that doesn't mean that I just get to sit around and do nothing!" she laughs. "My team has been really good to me. I've got lots planned for this release. Lots of events lined up. I'm super excited and looking forward to sharing my song with the world!"
When asked about the new album, Kesha revealed little more than what we already knew. "The album will be two discs, yes you heard that right. There will be one disc for older material and one disc for newer material. It's all new though. There's just older and newer," Kesha laughed. "There have been a few changes to the track listing since I last talked about it, so I can't really reveal anything yet because nothing is final. All of the songs for the album are recorded, there have just been a few last minute cuts, that's all. I might release them in the future. Who knows?" Kesha winked.
Kesha's new single "Twilight" is currently available on iTunes for purchase, as well as on YouTube and Spotify for official streaming, with her new album 'Kesha Rose' projected for release next week.

Zendaya at the White House
WORD COUNT: 731
Earlier this week, Zendaya has been invited to a prestigious event called Women of Soul and R&B which was held at the White House for the second year in a row. Zendaya accepted the invitation to join the line-up for this prestigious one of a kind concert, where she performed two songs of her own - her new Hit-Boy and RoccStar produced hit single Broke a Heart or Two which was released on January 18th via Zendaya's record label Indigo Records, and then she performed yet another brand new song Nighttime Diamonds from her highly anticipated sophomore album, which is set to be released sometime mid-February if nothing changes. Right after the White House reps confirmed about Zendaya's appearance at the event, Zendaya immediately shared her excitement about her performance on Twitter: "I can't wait to perform for the first family in the White House. What a blessing, I feel really important and recognized right now. Thank you!" Zendaya performed alongside with the Soul and R&B divas like Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige and other newcomers like Jhene Aiko at the show for the first family. Also, for the last performance, all four R&B and soul singers united and together performed Aaliyah's song It's Whatever. During her performances, Zendaya seemed to be a little bit nervous about this performing infront of the first family thing as it's a huge thing for her but also a really nervewrecking experience, because you don't get to perform infront of such important people including the president of United States Barack Obama himself or his wife Michelle, and other important names in the politics as well. But, Zendaya handled herself pretty well as she joked a little bit once she got on stage and made the whole audience laugh, and she shook off her nerves a bit as well. The performance of both songs were more stripped down than usual, more R&B than ever as it was even a bit Aaliyah-inspired, more chill with soft voice and basically no long notes or whatever, just Zendaya's smooth performance meshing up together with the smooth instrumental that was playing. It was definitely one of a kind performance as Zendaya did an amazing job without trying too much because there were basically no hard notes or whatever, but it was just a nice performance in general, and Zendaya definitely looked entertaining on stage. Zendaya also got a chance to meet the first family after her performance as she talked a little bit with Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and their daughters, who seemed really excited to meet Zendaya as they complimented her songs and told her that she is really amazing and that she is their idol.
For her appearance, Zendaya wore a really special and one of a kind dress that looked modern, classic, formal but at the same time sexy and seducing as well. It's hard to find dresses like that these days that don't scream "****" or "nerd", but it's something inbetween those two things. And with the right accesories, shoes, hairstyle and make-up that Zendaya chose to wear, she created this amazing look that made her look like a true Hollywood R&B diva or something like that, just really classy yet still somewhat sexy at the same time. With the dress, Zendaya chose to wear bright red Louboutin shoes, because, well, Zendaya's outfit is not Zendaya's outfit if she's not wearing a pair of Louboutin high heeled shoes, because they're probably all time favorites of Zendaya and she might just have those shoes in every single colour that is possible to get. Her bright red shoes perfectly matched with Zendaya's lipstick colour that was bright red as well, but it didn't pop out at all as it nicely just created a brighter look with the bright red shoes. Zendaya's eyebrows were perfected to the GODS, literally, as they were completely flawless, nicely shaped and not too bright or not too fake looking at all, they just seemed to be perfect, and her hair was slicked back a little bit and perfected so it wouldn't get messy during her performance. Zendaya loves golden accesories so it's not even a surprise that she chose to wear gold bracelets and huge golden hoops. She was named the best dress of the week for this outfit by a bunch of fashion blogs and Fashion Police, DailyMail and Vogue Italia as well.

Zendaya on The Voice
WORD COUNT: 755
Zendaya has been pretty busy this past week as she launched her brand new RoccStar and Hit-Boy produced single Broke a Heart or Two and started her brand new promotional tour in United States, booked a lot of performances slots on various television shows and other things, in order to promote her new single. However, even if Zendaya is probably always on the run, because she has to manage to go to some studios in time just for the shooting of an episode, but it looks like she's really enjoying all of this mess, or at least she knows exactly how to mask up her real emotions. But Zendaya is a pretty positive and happy girl who always focuses on good things instead of letting madness overtake her, so that's probably why she is never really mad or angry at anyone, and people who get a chance to work with the brand new R&B princess in the industry tend to give her positive feedback and always bring out the fact that she's really cool on the set as she always gets there on time and she is easy to work with. That is why probably almost every single show lets Zendaya to appear on it and trusts her as an artist and as a business woman, as they never ban her from appearing on their shows or other things. And it looks NBC's The Voice loves Zendaya not only as an artist, but as a young musician who knows exactly how to build your career and do it fastly just like she did with her lead single Gunshots - and that is the reason why The Voice asked Zendaya not only to perform her brand new single Broke a Heart or Two on their show, but they also invited her over to the show to sit in the famous red chair and fill in Gwen Stefani's spot for a night because she couldn't make it for unknown and unconfirmed reasons, and she also guest mentored the contestants and helped Gwen's team by giving them various advices on how to pick out the right songs and how to be as successful as possible. Zendaya could easily become one of the judges on the show in near future, because not only she is really easy to work with, but also because she has a lot of experience that she managed to gain in such a short period of time, and she also managed to share her own experience with the contestants that she was mentoring and gave them great advices that probably helped them to realize the things that they're good at and the things that they still need to work on or fix in the matter of time if they want to achieve great things not only on The Voice, but also later on in their careers. When Zendaya watched one of the contestant's performance that didn't receive a lot of votes and that contestant had to be on the edge of leaving the show, Zendaya gave her the best ever advice that could apply to anyone: "You know, if you don't find your voice and if you don't realize what your voice can do, then you're going to keep struggling. I know that my words can be harsh, but I want you to understand that you don't have powerful enough voice to sing Whitney Houston's song. I don't want to come off as a rude mentor, I want to come off as a truthful mentor who is not afraid to tell you what route you should go and which route you should avoid going. You have to understand that with your type of voice, you need to find songs that could make your voice sound good. You have a powerful voice, but your voice is different, and it's not exactly a voice that could sound good with Pop music. I would recommend you to pick out songs that would be R&B or funk inspired, I feel like you would kill Christina Aguilera's Candyman, I feel like that type of song could compliment your voice in a good way. You just need to know what type of songs fit your voice abilities and the type of the voice that you have. I don't have a powerful voice either, but with the right production, I could really pull off longer notes or even sing something really high, and it would sound magical. You need to work on getting to know your own voice, that's my advice for you."

Sky Ferreira covers Dazed magazine
Sky Ferreira is on the cover of the latest issue of Dazed magazine to discuss her new single and her plans for her upcoming new music. The star reveals a lot of things about her new material and why fans should be excited, as she feels she is finally "embracing her pop sensibility".
"For the first time, I'm excited about making pop music. I'm a great pop writer. I have a good sense of making unique melodies. I am talented." Sky says confidently, sipping on a green tea at a coffee shop in the Lower East Side where the interview is held. "Dance music, at first, was something I did not want to do - you know, I was an alternative girl. I still am, but it's different now." Her new album includes past collaborators such as Bloodshy & Avant, and new ones like Danja.
"Working with Danja was shocking for me, since I never thought I would be in the studio with an urban producer who's worked with Britney Spears or whatever, you know?" The album includes several tracks produced by him, along with other urban producers such as Timbaland who worked together on a track called "Among Us".
"'Among Us' is a really smooth track and it's on the album. It's super icy and electronic, sort of reminiscent of the sound on Britney Spears' 'Blackout'". It's about keeping the love, the sex, and the secrets you share with someone between you and them only."
Sky also said that the album, along with any other singles, will be released purely when she wants to. Her label has agreed to give her full control over the release schedule. "It could be coming out tomorrow, it could be a few weeks. I have no idea myself." Sky said with a laugh.
The first single off of the album, "Your Skin", is coming out later this week. The video, as Sky confirmed, is being shot in New York City.

Cara x Pepsi - The Times Square Concert
618 Words
A few weeks ago, Cara Delevingne made a deal with Pepsi for a large scale promotion of both Pepsi and Cara's brand new album 'Distant Horizon' within which Cara appeared in multiple commercials which were aired around the world and which helped Cara Delevingne's brand new album 'Distant Horizon' reach the platinum status within two weeks due to the impressive exposition Cara got from it. One of the last points of the deal was a full concert sponsored by Pepsi performed by Cara which would bring attention to both the major company and the superstar, to make this a huge deal.
The concert took place today in Times Square, due to Cara coming back to the US after a few weeks abroad, promoting in Europe and performing concerts in Asia with Hong-Kong, Dubai, Beijing and Tokyo as part of her Distant World Tour and later on performances in Canada which started her North American Leg of the tour. Hundreds of thousands have already attended Cara Delevingne concerts through all those sold out dates and Cara has established herself as a major talented entertainer which can easily bring in large numbers of people to her concerts, as she even booked stadiums in the US such as Rose Bowl and Michigan stadium.
Cara's performance in Times Square was promoted by various Billboards which were all over the New York city place and after a large structure was created within 24 hours for the performance. Hours before the concert a large mass of people was already standing and waiting for Cara while the huge amount of people attracted even more people. The estimate number of people who attended the concert is estimated at 18 thousand people. The concert itself was also aired on ABC and on ITunes which had Cara's performance available for streaming along with an ITunes banner Cara received.
The concert started with the 'CARA INTRO', which was the first track on her debut self titled album, which quickly followed with the hit #1 single 'Magazine'. Cara wore a white strapless studded crop top along with a pair of pink loose skirt. The performance was very dance oriented as Cara sang only with a head set and no held microphone, which made her dancing the heavy choreography much more easy.
Immediately after 'Magazine' finished, Cara started singing the first few notes from the promotional single 'Kiss To My Heart' which was featured on 'Distant Horizon' and which managed to sell over 213 thousand copies even when it only received little promotion and was only a promotional single. Fans are rumoring that this might be the next single after 'Honey'. The performance was interesting a featured a few acrobatics.
After a quick outfit change (Cara was now wearing a very short leather Alexander McQueen ensemble which revealed a lot of skin) Cara started singing a medley of 'Naked' which was on her debut album and which features Rihanna, 'Behind Closed Doors' from her new album and 'Corset' also on Cara's new album. The sexy and erotic performance was followed by an intense 'Honey' performance which features an impressive energetic choreography which went very well with the song's sexual themes.
The last performance of the night was the performance of 'La Belle' which is the last track on the standard edition of 'Distant Horizon', was certified pltinum this week and peaked and debuted at #2 a few weeks ago, although it reached higher sales 2 weeks ago then at it's peak. Due to the fact Cara was a widely known song the crowd started dancing and singing along to the huge hit.
Cara Delevingne's singles 'La Belle' and 'Honey' are now available and are featured on the platinum album 'Distant Horizon'.

Cara Covers Billboard Magazine
643 Words
2 Top 3 albums (one of them reaching platinum status within two weeks), 3 Top 3 Singles, 5 Top 5 Singles and 1 #1, Cara has achieved many things over the last year and still doesn't show any sign of slowing down, which is why we got her for this week's issue of Billboard Magazine.
Cara, currently touring the US for her Distant World Tour took some time off to visit the Billboard studios so we could get a few shots for the magazine issue's cover, and we asked her a few questions which concerned Cara and her career, the music and the music industry as well as a few other topics. Check the interview out below:
Billboard: How did you start working on 'Distant Horizon', or at least the current version of it? What was the first track you finished from the album?
Cara: Well the album went through many changes. At first it was to be a very electropop record with loads of bubblegum bop influences. Then it turned into a darker pop album before I changed genre and chose to go through a Hip-Hop and Urban phase. The first track I finished for the album was 'Fall Out' which was actually recorded in August 2014. During the whole summer I was working with Kanye West but he then dropped out and led me to Jay-Z for this track, so even within the Urban genre I had done changes before moving on to this version of the album.
Billboard: What about the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack, who asked you to create the soundtrack and what did you do to start working on it?
Cara: Well EL James the writer of the books was working a lot with everything concerning the movies including the soundtrack. Apparently she wanted someone who already had been very sexual in the past but can still sound sexier while singing the soundtrack's songs and she approached me. The first thing I did was re-read the books and I then watched some clips from the movie right before working on the soundtrack. It's pretty much done by now. I'm really excited to put it out as part of the 'Distant Horizon' Re-release.
Billboard: How will the tour go on after the re-release is released? Will it be revamped? will the tour end?
Cara: It won't stop no. The tour will go on for a lot more dates, I can assure you that. What will change is the setlist which will change completely and will include tracks from the re-release as well.
Billboard: Has your label always supported your choices and decisions?
Cara: Yes always. Now they will always ask me to go a certain way and guide me but that's normal, but if I can bring in good arguments they will go with my decisions and choices even for singles and releases. Which is great because I know most labels aren't like that. They've always been supportive. They also are currently promoting Charli XCX and soon Ryn Weaver who are two very talented women who I'm very happy to have as label mates. Ryn has also been opening my tour and she's amazing every night on stage, and it's great hype to build for her as her EP was taken off ITunes and people ar ejust waiting for it to be released to buy it.
Billboard: Will you feature on a few songs for other artists soon? For Ryn Weaver's album for example?
Cara: Well nothing is sure with anyone yet, and no I'm not working with Ryn. I've seen many fans rumoring that but no Ryn wants to keep the album cohesive and not just get me to feature on it for exposure. I think she's doing the right thing as I don't feel like I'd fit on her songs and she remains a great artist.

Part of the promotional appearances Cara Delevingne is currently doing across the US and North America in General (which is her current stop for the Distant World Tour) was her appearance on Good Morning America earlier today, which was watched by a record amount of viewers as the episode was heavily promoted, advertised and hyped as Cara's current era is huge and involved hundreds of promotional appearances around the world so far. Cara has been doing amazing chart wise too. Her single 'La Belle' is platinum, peaked at #2 and is still within the Top 10 after a whole month after it's release, the top 15 promotional single 'Kiss To My Heart' sold over 213 thousand copies, while the single 'Honey' was VEVO Certified within a few days and reached the top 5 on the singles charts and is nearly platinum, while Cara's album 'Distant Horizon' peaked within the top 3 and was certified platinum within 2 weeks.
For her performance on Good Morning America, Cara Delevingne wore a heavy light pink fur coat along with an elegant white body suit underneath it along with white Christian Louboutin heels. Top open her 3 songs set, Cara performed the hit platinum single 'La Belle' in a simplistic manner with a few dance moves that went along while the crowd went wild. The album track 'Fall Out' quickly followed and features Jay-Z who wasn't there for the performance but the song remained great, and Cara even rapped over Jay-Z's parts making the crowd go wild again. The 3 songs set ended with Cara's current single 'Honey' which is within the top 5 and is expected to peak this week as nearly all of the promotion Cara is doing this week is dedicated to the single. The performance was interesting and Cara made the crowd sing the lyrics with her.
After the performance sat down for the interview wearing a simple white top with black elegant pants an outfit that can be purchased at Louis Vuitton.
Host: Tell us about creating those songs Cara, what pushed you to go that way with the songs?
Cara: Well most of the album was inspired by various moments in my life and overall it's just about moving on and trying to make the best out of everyday. 'La Belle' was about the constant hate I was getting at some point and started getting attacked for everything I did and about me just fighting back. 'Fall Out' followed a similar concept while 'Honey' is about my relationship with Kendall Jenner.
Host: Would you consider 'Honey' a good example of what could be on the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack you are doing?
Cara: Yes and no. The soundtrack will be somewhat more electronic but will keep that RNB vibe 'Honey' has.
Host: What about appearing in a movie yourself, have you considered doing that?
Cara: Well I already did it and I'm appearing in Paper Towns in the future but right now nothing's really planned and I'm focusing mostly on the music. My third album is also coming really soon.
Host: Thank you for joining us today Cara, it was great having you on the show! Cara Delevingne's album 'Distant Horizon' is now available and features the singles 'La Belle' and 'Honey'.

Cara on Wendy
506 words
Cara Delevingne has already appeared on many varous tv shows over the past few weeks around the world including in the US, Canada, France, UK, Japan, China, Australia, Germany and more as she is promoting both her current single 'Honey' which has charted within the top 5 on most charts around the world and reached #1 on many of those, and her album 'Distant Horizon' which reached #1 in Australia, UK, France and Germany but was blocked by Taylor Swift in the US during it's debut week.
To push the sales of both the single and the album, Cara Delevingne appeared on the Wendy Williams show to promote her music as she hasn't promoted much via Daytime talk shows, only appearing on Ellen and to appeal for this time to a larger audience that didn't get much promotion by Cara Delevingne before. "I'm really happy with my life right now, my family, friends and label support me along with my beautiful girlfriend. My fans are amazing and I'm doing music. I have everything I eer wished for you know? it's such a good feeling." Cara said when discussing the current state of her life.
Cara Delevingne revealed various secrets concerning her life and her musical career, and even revealed a few secrets she keeps about her private love and sex life which she doesn't really talk much about during the interview. Cara also discussed various topics concerning women including her thoughts about Sexism still being very present, managing stress and looking up to her mother who had been a very hard working person. Cara also talked about fashion citing a few of her favorite outfits and designers and talked about make up as well and gave everyone in the audience a make-up kit along with a few advices.
Cara then got up to perform. Cara wore a light orange dress for the performance with large Christian Louboutin pumps and sang a few of the songs from her album 'Distant Horizon'. The first of the performances was the performance of the title track 'Distant Horizon', which is the third track on the album. The performance was simple and Cara used a more minimalistic version of the instrumental for the performance.
She then sung a medley of 'Behind Closed Doors' and 'Too Much is Not Enough', other album tracks, before singing the single 'La Belle'. The final performance of the night was Cara's performance of 'Honey' which was the only performance which featured any dancers. The performance started as Cara danced around the stage along with the two shirtless male dancers which were on stage with her. The dancers then started to move around and started walking between the female crowd gathering many cheers from all the girls.
Cara Delevingne's new platinum certified critically acclaimed album 'Distant Horizon' is now available digitally and physically and features the singles smash hit singles 'La Belle' which was recently certified platinum as well and the other smash hit nearing platinum certification 'Honey' which is charting within the top 5 this week.

Cara on the Today Show
543 Words
Promoting her latest single 'Honey' which is nearing platinum status after only a week charting as a promotional single and another week as a single, which was taken off the platinum certified album 'Distant Horizon' which was recently released and which received an impresive critical acclaim and love from the fans as well as great sales, ranking itself as one of the highest selling albums of the year, while the lead single off the album 'La Belle' which was released last christmas is now platinum certified and is the second highest selling single of the year after Azealia Banks' 'Metamorph'. To bring the light to her attention after enormous competition by the likes of Taylor Swift, Lena and Azealia Cara wants to get 'Honey' to the top 3 this week and make it finally reach platinum status, by making an extra appearance on the Today show in New York City one of this week's stops of her 'Distant World Tour'. To further promote the song Cara is even rumored to release a second remixes EP for the single in addition to the first one released last week and is rumored to contain even more collaborations.
Wearing a pastel pink dress with large heels and a black tuxedo jacket, her performance started off with 'Distant Horizon', which is the title track from Cara's sophomore album. Cara sang the song standing in front of the microphone letting mostly her voice, the lights and stage effects bring out the best in the performance, and kept it simple just like the beautiful song.
'La Belle' followed and Cara sang the smash hit single with more energy and emotion then the first song which and danced around on stage to the hip-hop beat of the smash urban hit.
Once 'La Belle' ended, an instrumental interlude followed and Cara took her jacket off leaving just the soft dress. The instrumental interlude transitioned to the next song which was 'Honey', Cara Delevingne's current single. After encouraging the crowd to sing along with her the lyrics of the RnB track Cara started singing in a very husky vice the lyics of the song. During the dance breakdown Cara sang the lyrics in a very high pitched tone giving a nice effect to the song.
After the performances, Cara remained on stage to answer a few questions asked by the host of the show:
Host: The performances were great Cara, why did you choose to perform those three songs?
Cara: Well 'Distant Horizon' because it sums up my new album's themes pretty well and because I really love the soft song. 'La Belle' because it's a huge hit and pretyt much everyone knows it so it's nice to give people a listen to the jam they want to hear. Finally 'Honey' is my current single and you can now buy it on ITunes!
Host: Last week you released a remix single of 'Honey' which features Azealia Banks and you've only performed it on tour, will you ever perform it on TV?
Cara: Well maybe but we'll see.
Host: WHat can we expect from you in the few next weeks?
Cara: Well just more performances, a few music videos, a few singles and a re-release or actually the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack.

Charli XCX performs on The Tonight Show
258 Words
Charli XCX released last week her latest album 'SUCKER" which managed to reach the top 10 on the album charts and sold impressive amounts for an artist like Charli, and that was mostly due to the hefty promotion Charli got thanks to her brand new label Variety Records last week. "We see a lot of potential in Charli which is why we decided to book her so many shows. She's so likeable, if people knew about her more they'd go right to ITunes and buy her music" said Variety Records CEO Rways, who was discussing he's promotional plans with the press.
As part of the promotion, Charli just appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on which she performed her latest single 'Sucker' and answered a few questions for the interview. The show started with Charli's performance. She sang 'Sucker' wearing a red leotard with long sleeves and white leather gloves and white large platform boots. Towards the end of the performance, Charli chanted '**** You Sucker' while the whole crowd was constantly screaming and cheering and applauding. AT the end of the performance, Charli got a standing ovation and Charli bowed down.
AFter the performance, Charli started the interview wearing a John Galliano long red dress and classy white heels. She looked beautiful with her hair pushed to the side. She discussed various topics including pop music, her next album, fans and 'Sucker'.
Charli XCX's brand new album 'SUCKER' is now available digitally and physically and features the singles 'Break The Rules', 'Boom Clap' and 'Sucker'.

Lady Gaga and Madonna on The View
Lady Gaga and Madonna appeared and performed on today’s episode of The View. Prior to their magnificent performance, the two sat down with host Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the panel to discuss their collaboration on “PARTYNAUSEOUS”.
Whoopi: Our next guests are pop music royalty. They have a new single out called “PARTYNAUSEOUS”, this is the first time they have collaborated and it is set to go down in pop culture history.
*Whoopi shows CD Single*
Please welcome and bow down for Madonna and Lady Gaga!
*crowd cheers and applauds*
*Whoopi, Rosie Perez, Rosie O’Donnell and Nicolle Wallace greet Gaga and Madonna as they sit down at the panel*
Whoopi: Lady Gaga and Madonna, welcome to The View!
Madonna: Good afternoon, thank you for having us.
Whoopi: Now we’ve got to talk about this new song, “PARTYNAUSEOUS”. Now, there’s been a lot of surprise about you two collaborating because you were meant to be feuding and rivals-
Gaga: That’s a load of BS.
Whoopi: Exactly! It’s bull, because they only say that about the female artist and not the males.
Madonna: I agree. In my opinion, the media trying to get us at each other like that is a form of misogyny. By pitting us against each other and tearing each other down. Females in this business are more than their clothes and hair and makeup and the drama and gossip. We are artists too and the majority do it better than the men in this industry.
Rosie O: Well said.
*audience and panel applaud*
Rosie P: And the song and the lyric video has garnered a lot of criticism because it is sexually provocative and you reference drugs. How do you feel about that?
Gaga: Well again, do we see the media react to men including this in their art? No. A man can be sexual and a man can sing about getting high, but that’s OK.
The interview continued on topics of feminism, relationships, musicianship, art and “PARTYNAUSEOUS”. The programme went to a break after the interview. Gaga and Madonna then performed.
The performance began with Gaga and Madonna in vintage couture electronic gynoid-punk bodysuits from Alexander McQueen for Givenchy 1999/2000, resembling a circuit board pattern.
The dancers were wearing similar custom fibre-optic LED outfits which equally wowed the audience and fans. Madonna suffered a wardrobe malfunction midway the song as her breast fell out of her outfit. Her nipples were luckily covered with black tape, something female performers often use in case of accidents and mishaps like this. Gaga and Madonna delivered vocal and dance excellence as usual and were applauded by the audience. Afterwards, Whoopi announced that everyone in the studio audience would be leaving with a free copy of the “PARTYNAUSEOUS” CD single much to their surprise and excitement.
PARTYNAUSEOUS is available on
