Iggy Azalea: I haven't collaborated with Little Mix
Quote:
A song called Pretty Girls had (seemingly) been registered on the ASCAP website with Perrie, Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Iggy all credited as songwriters and The Invisible Men (amazing) as producers. Turns out the whole thing ain't actually happening, though, 'cause now I-GG-Y's taken to Twitter to say she hasn't collaborated with the artists formerly known as Rhythmix.
When one fan tweeted saying: "Little Mix ft Iggy Azalea - Pretty Girls. Get ready" with a whole loada the most excitable emojis around (we're talking spurty whale, flamenco dancer...), Iggy thought she'd clear the whole thing up. She explained: "This song that was registered isn't affiliated with little mix, I havnt collaborated with them." [sic], which is a bit of a shame to be honest.
As Popjustice pointed out, the case may be the The Invisible Men started working on the track with Little Mix before they ditched it and continued the whole process with Iggy. Hence why they're all still credited. So yeah.
