that was just a rumour tho. Besides, The Voice of Holland didn't even started so it was a big risk to participate (The Voice of Holland was the very first show of The Voice worldwide), so i don't blame her tbh if this is true.

For an artist like Esmee Denters, who isn't even established in The Netherlands, being a judge on a talent show that was scheduled to air prime-time on the biggest television station in Holland, wouldn't really be a big risk, if you ask me.

She's already had a hit in the UK before

Back then it wasn't considered "cool" to be a judge on a talentshow...

And one thing is that she barely communicate with her fans - she didn't establish any sort of relationship with her fans, so there's no loyal following which is really sad. People only like her for her voice, not enough for them to actually be investing time on her. When JT took her in, she simply disappeared from Youtube, uploads less videos - took time to make her album, people were starting to forget about her already. She could've thrown her stuff constantly out there.

Even if she goes on to win The Voice she'll probably bomb harder than she did with JT. No shade because she seems nice enough, but she doesn't really hold your attention. Timberlake probably figured that her Youtube views would translate to real success.

I thought she was so brave and she came across as pretty sincere in trying to make a comeback. I'm glad she's on Team Will.i.Am.

She really didn't sound that good to me, nothing we haven't heard a million times before.

Even so, still a missed opportunity for her.
