2) ??? Nobody said it needs to be perfect. I said, it should be respectable. I can find tons of respectable TV shows that entertain without badly written, sex craved gay or straight characters. The fact you think a show needs that to be "entertaining" says more about what kind of person you are than society or Billy Crystal.
3) Bringing real people into fictional conversation doesn't help at all. Especially when you have Andy Cohen and Perez having more (negative) presence in society than those you mentioned. Regardless, we're not talking real role models so I'm not sure why you brought them up. It's truly irrelevant to what I said and what Crystal said.

So? Does that mean the show have to water down their content because teens will find a way to sneak in some viewing time? That's not their responsibility nor within their control. U need to put the burden where it belongs.
So HTGAWM is not respectable because it has a promiscuous gay character? If that your definition of non-respectable then so be it cus guess what? There are tons of gays just Iike Conor. Im pretty sure i said earlier that there's a variety of Gay personas on tv. There are many not like Conor so bringing up "respectable tv/ shows" is redundant. It's easiest thing to switch channels if u can't handle a gay character with strong sexual convictions. Lol at the personal attack. Nowhere did i mention that a character has to be overtly sexual to make for an entertaining shows but if the sexuality of a character makes or breaks a show for u, then Im afraid your reasoning capacity is lacking. Perhaps stick to easily digestible pre-watershed shows.
You went on about how Americans base their perception of gay men through their portrayal on tv shows and im saying thats not the only place to look. Whats the point of bringing up Perez? He's a gossip blogger for crying out loud. You're perpetuating a dangerous notion; every gay person has to meet a certain standard otherwise the public will think negatively of us. All gays do not share the same values nor are they obligated to; they have as much freewill to be flawed & human as every other person in the society!!
