People on twitter going to see this not knowing it's a musical.
Honestly the acting was kind of terrible minus Emily Blunt and Meryl in the second act. Mostly due to the script and James Corden though. And I'm super pissed they cut Maybe They're Magic, the short Into the Woods interludes, and the Agony Reprise. Also mad they changed Rapunzel's ending and I don't really understand why it needed to be changed.
Thought it ended kind of odd, with the finale just being used for the credits. As well, the second half's direction was a bit messy. The scene where the giant falls and then Anna Kendrick just keeps saying "careful, careful!" and then they scream for the Baker was cringeworthy. Again, due to bad acting and direction.
Overall I enjoyed it, I've seen it three times now. Probably going to stick to watching the broadway film version.
