Serene can't volley, she can close points at the net wich is VERY different from knowing how to volley, neither of the william sisters know how to properly volley
Serena can't do slice shots, whenever she atempts them she hits them like a rookie because she was never taught how to play them
Serena doesn't play with Top Spin, just because sometimes she hits the ball with a higher amount of contact through the raquet when she is in defensive positions doesn't mean she implements that shot.
The Williams(mostly serena) are the best and most dominant baseliners the women's tennis has ever seen, bit their growth as players beyond that never happened, they kept evolving from offensive baseliners, to counter attacking and lately serena has some recovery shots, all this from the baseline
I love serena,i just think it's weird to consider her bigger than Steffi or Navratilova, who were complete players
not when she doesn't even know how to slice a ball, how to volley or how to successfully hit top spin
