Carrie is a 2002 NBC-TV movie based on the novel Carrie by Stephen King. It was the second film adaptation of the novel, following the 1976 version. The film was intended as a backdoor pilot for a potential TV series and the ending of the novel was changed accordingly. As of 2015, no such series have been made.

Trailer
Carrie is a 2013 American supernatural horror film. It is the third film adaptation of Stephen King's 1974 novel of the same name, though Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Screen Gems, who produced the film, employed a script that was reportedly more faithful to King's original novel. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular Carrie White, and Julianne Moore as Carrie's mother, Margaret White.
Which is the better remake? I highly think the 2002 remake was better. Sticking more towards the original novel and having Katharine Isabelle and Chelan Simmons the film is really good.
Anything is better than the 1976 version...minus it's sequel and the TV remake.
2013, obviously. It does everything the original did but better in every way. It actually has character development and Julianne Moore is a better actress than Piper Laurie.
