Woman publicly beheaded after screaming innocence in Saudi!
Quote:
Saudi Arabia has publicly beheaded a Burmese woman for the rape and murder of her six-year-old stepdaughter.
Layla bint Abdul Mutaleb Bassim was shown being dragged through a car park repeatedly screaming "I did not kill" in a video leaked onto the Internet just prior to her execution, reports the Times of London.
Authorities say Bassim violated then beat to death her husband's daughter with a broomstick.
The execution was the seventh in the Gulf Kingdom already this year.
Activists say that public executions are being used to try and spread fear among the general population, claims the Times.
It comes as Saudi is under pressure internationally following its decision to give a blogger 1,000 lashes and 10 years in prison for "insulting Islam."
So barbaric. Backwards. Anyone still wishing for death penalty better hope **** doesn't happen to yourself and you don't find yourself being dragged like this woman to her death without a fair trial. RIP.

From what I've read she brutally raped and took the virginity of a little girl, and the girl died shortly after.
If that's real, I don't know what's harsher, the fact that she killed a girl (presumably), or that she was filmed while being killed by a sword.
Disgusting (both what she was accused of doing and for people to think an execution, no less a graphic and public execution, is acceptable in today's day and age).
Wait, so this woman raped and murdered her stepdaughter, and you're disgusted that she was executed for it?
Oh come on, stay complaining that the death penalty isn't used enough yet cry tears over this child molester.
She was not given a fair trial and her execution was brutal and public. Even if she did such horrible things, this is not acceptable and sets a horrible precedent for future cases (not that this is new or anything).
