I was in Target today and bought Kelly Clarkson and The-Dream. I was so close to buying this one, but as stated earlier, not enough promo. Very disappointed. Maybe when I hear more singles from it, I'll cop it.
It's actually a very good album ... You can listen to the tracks on youtube if you are questioning buying it. My favorites are "It's Yours" ,"Fall" , "Don't Go" , "Make That Sound" , and "Fly." Its a very smooth listen throughout. It's been received well by critics and I agree with them, it's a better album than his first (album wise, the first one had better singles though).
I knew it was out from this site and a Target commercial. I never saw the "It Yours" video on TV and I never heard the song on the radio. What's wrong with his label, Back Of My Lac had a lot of promotion.
He's selling 60-65k, that's AWESOME. His fan base with Urban is really strong. If he'd got a hit like "Bed" he would probably sell more than The-Dream.
