The layering on Medulla sounded good for the most part. On Biophilia it made her voice sound worse than it is in my opinion and it's usually unnecessary.
Honestly I would wait for the better quality. You can definitely tell there's something missing from these, and I'm sure the string arrangements have lost a lot of their depth. Like on the HQ I'm sure they will blow me away but on these versions for the most part they're just pretty. And it sounds messy in the LQ.

I get it tbh. I don't mind it, but I certainly am not crazy about it.

I actually really like Biophilia.
It's like a journey through the universe, and the whole app was an amazing experience.
It was just empty. Her voice wasn't in it like her other albums, for whatever reason, and she didn't have the production to back it up for the most part.

128kps. It's hardly pristine but it isn't like a potato recording.
Frankly I just think it's just a version that hasn't been mixed + mastered yet. It's not pristine, but it's definitely passable until we get the full thing. Her vocals just get lost in the instrumentals in some songs. Otherwise I bet this is the final album.
