Major update on the new Daughtry record from Chris Daughtry in his latest vlog. Plus, Chris knows the cute lingo (sesh?) and lots of famous people!
Here are the deets on the next record:
* Chris finished vocals on the record last week
* They recorded 19 songs - 12 will probably make the record–they’ve just entered the mixing phase
* He’s hoping for a June or July release
* There’s No album title yet
* Last minute writing sessions included Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) and Richard Marx
* He mentions writing sessions with Jason Wade from Lifehouse
– “Long Way” for the new album–and also for the next Lifehouse album.
* Chris also wrote with Pat Monahan for the next Train record
