Zon't even get me started

I despise retail, it's like 50% of my customers are rude and the other 50% are just annoying
- customers getting angry with me because they misread sale signs
- customers getting an attitude because there is a line/they need to get back to work (not my fault you got the
v original idea to come shop at the busiest time of day)
- customers getting angry with me for something I have zero control over (their sizes not being in stock, items we no longer carry, etc).
- misc rudeness, tirades, etc. The other day some woman came to my job when it was raining and asked if we had rain ponchos. Working at the register, I can't actually leave unless I'm on break or have backup, so I pointed her to the rain ponchos literally ten feet away from her, and she replies "I can't see that". I assumed she meant she couldn't tell which rack I was pointing to, so I just told her where it was and pointed *more clearly*. Then she just went OFF and started cursing at me because she couldn't see with the fog in her glasses, and was like "I wouldn't expect someone like
you to understand", and I was just so bothered and depressed for the rest of the day

I'm honestly way too sensitive to be in customer service tbh, people are literally evil
