British superstar Charli XCX continues on the rise. The artist is set to release her new single “Doing It,” a collaboration with Rita Ora on February 9. The track, produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, is a feel-good tune all about girl power, a theme recurrent in many of her songs. Charli XCX has made a name for herself following the success of being featured on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” and her own single “Boom Clap”, a bumping track featured in the blockbuster “The Fault in Our Stars.” Her debut album Sucker reached the No. 6 spot on iTunes, as well as selling over 35,000 copies in the U.S. during its release week. The 22-year-old singing sensation was named "SESAC Writer of the Year 2014" as well as "Hitmaker of the Year" by Billboard, leaving only good signs for her upcoming music. She will be joining Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler onstage during Rolling Stone magazine’s Super Bowl Pre-Game Event on January 31st. For all the latest music news, keep it here on M News!
