Lena on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon
WORD COUNT: 833
Lena's brand new single Trouble is slowly but surely rising on the charts and it looks like it might end up being more successful than anyone whould have thought it would become - the single is nearing the Top 5 on American iTunes, and the other version, which features guest vocals from song's co-writer Sia Furler, who is better known just as Sia, is staying in the Top 20. The remixed version which has Sia's vocals on hasn't ever been performed yet and will stay that way probably because of Sia's no-promotion and face-hiding idea. However, even if during her appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Lena didn't perform the remixed version with Sia, she adressed that version and talked a little bit about how exactly that version came to life and how Sia agreed to record her own verse for the remix. Lena is currently busy promoting her single, and the next stop on her promotional tour is Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, where Lena not only performed her single Trouble on the stage along with the band, but also sat down with Jimmy Fallon himself and talked a little bit about how everything is slowly taking its places in Lena's life, starting with music, her breakout in the fashion world, and... love life, as well. Lena was invited to perform on the stage after she was interviewed, and Jimmy Fallon was nice while introducing Lena: "Now it's time for some music. She's one of my favorite artists that are breaking out in United States these days, and her music is so catchy that you can't get it out of your head for a long time. Trust me, I know. Performing my current favorite song called Trouble, please welcome four time ECHO Award winner Lena Meyer-Landrut!" The performance was quite simple as always, and Lena didn't brought anyone else with her on the stage except the band that was placed in the back of the stage and wasn't really in the spotlight that much. As always, Lena was standing infront of a microphone stand just singing and doing her thing, and her voice was as beautiful as always, it wasn't too strong or anything because obviously, Lena doesn't have Christina Aguilera-esque or Adele-esque type of vocals, but they were good and average, and Lena did better than she always does, probably because reportedly and allegedly, Lena has been taking vocal training classes for the past few weeks now, trying to find her own techniques to hit the right notes and to hold those particular notes longer than she is used to.
Jimmy: Hi Lena! Can I call you Lena, right?
Lena: Can I call you Jimmy then?
Jimmy: Well obviously you can! Welcome to my show, welcome to America! So, Lena, we know you have an announcement to make...
Lena: Oh, yeah, I completely forgot about that. So, I'm really pleased to announce that my debut US album is called Borderline, and it will be coming out on February 28th, the same day that I will start my first worldwide tour, The Borderline Tour, which will also tour nowhere else but New York!
Jimmy: Can you talk a little bit about your album?
Lena: Yes! It's my most personal album to date and it's leagues above my first three albums that I released in Europe and Germany, and this one is different from the other three. It's different by everything, it's different sound, different influences, different topics, everything is different. I chose to call it Borderliene because I see this album as my last oppurtunity to break out in the music industry and to break out of Germany. I think that if I don't break out with this album, then I should just stay in Germany and drop my global plans, because I put everything into this album, my blood, my sweat, my tears, everything, and I really believe in this album and its greatness, and I feel like it should become a huge hit, but if it doesn't become the hit that I expect it to become, then nothing else that I will ever create could become hit either. It's just this album is something I really believe in, and it's my last offer to the world, and if I don't make it, if I don't break out once and for all, then I don't think I'll ever break out, honestly.
Jimmy: Your single is currently rising up the charts, how are you feeling about that?
Lena: Grateful. It feels amazing when you have a single out in a country where nobody knows who you are, but people are still buying your music and finding out who you are, enjoying the things that you create. I get the greatest feeling when people come up to me in for example US or UK and they tell me that they just found out who am I but they're already falling in love with my music. That's the most pleasuring thing for me.
Trouble video
WORD COUNT: 1046
Shot in: London
Length: 5:48
Action take place in 50s
Directed by: Henry Scholfield
Tony is played by Johannes Strate, Lena is playing herself
SCENE ONE/THE THROWBACK: The video starts with few unclear throwbacks of how a girl with dark hair and a mask over her head robs a bank. She comes in with a gun in her hands, swinging her thighs and clicking down with her high heels the hardwood floor, wearing a tight dress. She robs the back SWIFTLY, and you can understand that the scene is taking place in early 50s, when a girl just simply breaks into the bank and takes aways millions of money. Then, she takes off her mask and shows her real face, and it turns out that the thief is Lena. She just takes all of her money, collects it and walks out of the bank, leaving the accountant completely shocked and lost, while police cars with their sirens on rush to the bank.
SCENE TWO/THE MEETING: The second scene takes place in a classy bar, where all the rich men comes together and drink brandy or vodka on the rocks and talk about business, sex and women. And one good looking woman - Lena - walks onto the stage looking all sexy and dressed up in her lacey tight dress that is sheer and showcases her perfect body and nice black underwear, stands up right infront of the microphone, looks around the bar and smirks by rising her lips just a little bit. She looks seductively, sexy and hot. All of the men in the bar stop drinking whatever they're drinking, they stop talking about business and sexy women, and they all lift their eyes and look up to Lena, who is standing on that stage like a true goddess. Once Lena is about to start performing her song, a good looking tall man - let's call him Tony - walks into the bar looking all fine and casanova-esque, with his hair slicked back, a little bit of bear, wearing tuxedo and a cigar between his two fingers. Lena takes a good look at him, waits until he settles down, and then start performing a song that is none other but Trouble.
SCENE THREE/THE CHASING: The third scene takes action on the street when Lena walks out of the bar with her high heels clicking on the street and she walks with complete confidence until the same guy who showed up at the bar late for her performance - Tony - grabbed her hand and turned her back so he could look her right into her eyes. Then, he lifted a rose that was placed inbetween his fingers - the same place where his cigar was placed when he walked into the bar - and gave it to Lena, this way inviting her to spend some time together somewhere and get to know each other. Lena gladly accepts hir rose, this way accepting his invitation to join him on this late evening, and they walk together to his car that looked really expensive and luxurious.
SCENE FOUR/THE SEDUCING: In the restaurant, both of them are drinking wine, and under the tabel, Lena is seducing Tony by rubbing his leg, and this action used to be really popular in mid 50s when woman used to try to seduce the man, satisfy and please them by rubbing their legs under the tabels in a public place, like a five start restaurant or a cafe. Tony looks really satisfied with a little smirk on his face, as he leans towards Lena like he wants to kiss her, but still hesitates about it, so he doesn't completely rush. Then, Lena just stands up and starts walking away, and after she walks some distance, she turns back and seductively looks at Tony, giving him so kind of cryptic message or look with her eyes, then turns away again by flipping her hair and starts walking, while Tony finishes up his wine glasses, immediately stands up and rushes after Lena trying to catch her. Once they walk out of the restaurant, Tony grabs her hand once again, turns her back, pulls her to himself and starts kissing her. Lena doesn't waste a moment either as their lips and tongues crash together immediately and they start making out in the middle of the street.
SCENE FIVE/THE ALMOST SEX: Once they arrive at Tony's flat, which looks really luxurious and expensive and big, Tony doesn't hesitate a minute as he grabs Lena again, this time taking her by her thighs and lifts her up to himself. Lena wraps her legs around Tony's waist as he carries her to the bedroom while kissing her as well. Then, Tony just stands infront of a wall with Lena's back against the wall while they're making out, and when they're about to have sex, Tony suddenly turns her away yet again, pushes Lena's face against the wall and rougly takes her hands together. Lena then lifts her eyes up and sees the things that she missed once they were in the bedroom - she was able to see a police badge on his drawer, which meant that he is a policeman under disguise. However, Lena turns around yet again by getting out of Tony's trap and crashes their lips again like nothing happened and like she didn't notice the police badge on his drawer. Tony just gets lost as he hesitates for a minute but kisses her back, until he can feel that they're on Tony's bed, making out yet again. Lena then takes handcuffs out of his drawer pretty fast and locks him to the bed. Then, she just stood up, fixed her hair, and searched through his pants searching for his money, then walked over to his drawer and went through that as well, collected all of the money that Tony had. In the end, Lena leanded forward to the Tony yet again and crashed their lips with passion again, and also massaged his thigh a little bit. Then, Lena leaned back, smirked a little bit, stood up and walked out of the bedroom with a small grin on her face clicking down the hardwood, leaving Tony locked up to the bed and with a woody in his pants.

Christina appears on Jimmy Kimmel

Yesterday evening, Christina Aguilera appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to promote her latest record - Truth Pill - and also performed her third single which is now currently Called Amethyst Bleach. The remixes EP for Amethyst Bleach was released yesterday and has already made an impact on the charts. A lot more potential buyers are being drawn by the remixes EP which could drive up more sales for Christina's album. Having said that, Christina did only perform the original studio version on Jimmy Kimmel. In addition, she had a quick chat with Jimmy himself near the end of her performance of Amethyst Bleach as well. Christina has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show a few times before although this is the first time she has appeared on it this era. The show just came back from hiatus due to it being the holiday season as it embarks on another great year, starting in 2015.
Christina performed Amethyst Bleach and stayed true to the original studio version. The song has gained quite a bit of momentum these past few days and is set to do respectably well on the charts so watch out for that! She also incroporated a choreography routine that was similar to the one she did in its music video which was a nice change since none of the performances of Amethyst Bleach before this one had some sort of structure in terms of dancing even though they were still all quite entertaining. Christina had a more relaxed approach in this performance and styled her hair in a classier way reminiscent of her Baby Jane days during her LP Back To Basics back in 2006. Having said that, she wore little to no makeup during the performance and even if she did it was a very natural look which is a great contrast from the heavy handed makeup she and we have all been so accustomed to nowadays. It was extremely refreshing to see Christina up there and doing her thing. She gave the performance of her life which is positive since she's about to tour the entire world, promoting Truth Pill, by the end of this week. The Naked Truth Tour has already been sold out in many places although a few tickets are still available and more dates are expected to be added once Christina moves on forward onto the fourth single which has not yet been fully decided on. Christina already started her first leg last week in San Francisco although that was only a taster, or a "dress rehearsal" of what's to come in 2015 all the way through into 2016.
Various social media platforms and bloggers responded well to the Jimmy Kimmel performance that Christina put on. There was a bit of criticism target towards the song itself due to it's very controversial topics which are discussed about in its lyrics although much of that controversy has now died down compared to the utter backlash at the beginning of this week. It seems as though Christina has won the public over with the release of her experimental 8th studio album - Truth Pill - and now she's gotten to a point in her career where she can practically have the free reign to do whatever she wants to do which is what every musician strives for when they go into this industry without a clue. A lot of fashion websites, such as elle.com which Christina covered for this month's issue of Elle Magazine, praised Christina for her aesthetic and styling choices for this performance especially. From Elle's fashion guru section, they explicitly applauded Christina on her efforts to be more fashion forward than needs be: "Xtina has this certain flair that can accommodate and adapt to whatever style she sees fit. It's refreshing to find our favourite musician be so comfortable in her own skin. This can be seen through how she presents herself and owns the clothes that she's wearing instead of the clothes wearing her. She's definitely a style icon of our generation and one to watch when wanting advice as to what direction fashion is currently going in." Christina's profile in the fashion industry has been elevated to new heights ever since she landed a promiscuous deal with Christian Dior as the face and main spokeswoman of such a revered designer brand company.

Xtina holds special fan concert at the Tokyo Dome

SETLIST

3. Waves
4. Amethyst Bleach
5. Fishbowl
6. Chinese Whispers
7. Sour Grapes
ENCORE
8. Beautiful
9. Fighter
10. Genie In A Bottle
In order to fully prepare for her upcoming worldwide tour, Christina Aguilera enlisted the help of the Tokyo Dome which is a massive stadium in the heart of Japan to allow her to perform a few tracks from her album - Truth Pill - so that Christina's Japanese fans can also enjoy the concert ahead of time and to spread the word about The Naked Truth Tour which will continue its first leg at the end of this week after the first date from last week which was San Francisco went along exceptionally well. Actually, Christina visited Tokyo a week or two weeks ago for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was being held in Tokyo this year instead. Christina performed on the runway for the first time and attracted a lot of attention from passers by and the Japanese general public. Christina's profile in Japan has now risen higher than ever before so Christina felt that it was necessary to give back to her fans, her Japanese fans especially, by holding an intimate mini concert for them. There were multiple sound checks done before the actual concert which was held last night as Christina travelled back and forth from Los Angeles to Tokyo due to scheduling conflicts and obligations that she had going on in Los Angeles already. However, the mini concert managed to pull through and everything went seamlessly smooth last night despite a few obstacles blocking her path during the preparations. Production for the concert was quite high budget although the organisation who are in charge in the keeping of the Tokyo Dome did contribute a large proportion towards the budgeting costs for the special mini concert. By the way, the Tokyo Dome isn't just a stadium but also has a lot more aspects to it such as restaurants and hotels amongst other useful locations. Christina reportedly stayed at one of the hotels that are in the Tokyo Dome. Refreshments during the concert was also provided by the restaurants at the Tokyo Dome in order to make sure everything stayed local and complications were avoided since that is something that is incredibly easy to do at times like this.
Christina performed up to a total of 7 tracks from her album - Truth Pill - which was executively produced by Paul Epworth throughout. She also had a encore ready which consisted of some of her most well known smash hits, including: Beautiful, Fighter and Genie In A Bottle. Her labelmate Bjork couldn't attend so Christina wasn't able to perform their duet together - Chrysalis - which served as the second single from the album, following on from the lead single - Waves. Nevertheless, the setlist was switched up a bit and Christina performed Fishbowl in place of Chrysalis instead and was still met with a large amount of cheers since the album was one of Japan's most anticipated this year. There were a few language barriers between Christina and the audience because Christina doesn't speak fluent Japanese although she knows a few generic words here and there. However, everyone still managed to have a marvellous time and communication was most importantly felt through the music... Christina Aguilera's music which is a beautiful thing to experience with others especially those who are culturally different from you.
The special fan concert that Christina held at the Tokyo Dome was met with a lot of acclaim as some Japanese fans took to their own respective social media platforms that are popular in their home country as well as Facebook and Twitter etc to express their gratitude and hopes in seeing Christina Aguilera again live sometimes soon, preferably this year even. It's not yet known whether Christina is planning to tour Japan and the entirety of Asia in the near future since usually just tours America and selected parts of Europe. Having said that, according to a few sources close to Christina's reps and management team whoa re behind The Naked Truth Tour, there are plans to eventually tour Asia but that won't be until much later. Europe has been confirmed to be scheduled for this week's dates that have been added as tickets will go up for a few Asian dates in countries like the Philippines and South Korea.

Lena on Late Show with David Letterman
WORD COUNT: 806
Lena is having a busiest week in her life so far right now - she's constantly flying from one country to another, she's constantly rushing from one show to another show, and that is all because Lena is trying as hard as she can to promote her brand new Max Martin and Eg White produced single Trouble, which came out not so long ago, on January 12th. The song is currently receiving a lot of attention after Lena promoted the hell out of it this past week - she did a promotional tour in United Kingdom, she performed the song a couple of times in her home country Germany, and currently, she's on a promotional tour in United States, where she is constantly visiting television shows, attending the events, talking to the media, giving interviews and doing basically everything she can do to promote her brand new single. The latest place that Lena stopped by was CBS Studios in New York to shoot her appearance for Late Show with David Letterman. Mr. Letterman is known for always giving a chance to new artists who are just starting to break out a chance to perform on his show, as he helped artists like Ryn Weaver, Oh Land, Zedd and Foxes to make their songs bigger than they already are. Not only Lena performed her brand new song on the show, but she also sat down with David on his couches and talked about a lot of things with him. Lena performance was quite simple just the way it usually is, but it was more simple than ever, because she decided to perform the acoustic version of it and only brought her guitarist with her on the stage. Lena was standing infront of a microphone stand in the middle of the stage throughout the whole performance, and her guitarist sat down on the chair that was placed right next to where Lena was performing. It seemed to be this mysterious and intimate performance, because only one spotlight was on, and you were able to barely see both of them - the guitarist and Lena. However, it was a really intimate and nice performance, and this way, Lena managed to focus on her voice more, not on trying to keep up with the sound of her whole band. Her voice sounded more seductive than ever and it was really nice, and the whispering that she did towards the end sounded amazing, it was the right moment and the right place to do so. This performance of Lena received a lot of positive reviews and feedback, and it was watched about 100,000 times on YouTube once David Letterman's YouTube channel uploaded the video of Lena's performance. The commentators were all praising Lena's beautiful voice, because it's actually beautiful and nice, it's just that sometimes it can come off as annoying, but once she is singing the right song with the right instrumental and the right sounds, then her voice can sound extremely good.
David: Well hello, Lena! It's good to see you, I've been keeping an eye out on your for the past few days, you're everywhere. How come you manage to go everywhere and arrive just on time?
Lena: It's really hard, and it gets tiring sometimes, but I do the best I can just so I could succeed. I love performing, I love singing, I love doing all that, so this tight schedule is tiring, but at the same time it's really fun, because that is exactly what I wanted all along. I guess the first week is a bit challenging, because we have to go everywhere we can in order to promote the song, we have to do everything that is in our power, but then again, the energy that I get from the passion for performing and doing all that keeps me going, I guess.
David: Your new album, Borderline, is coming out on February 28th. Talk a bit about that.
Lena: This album is really personal to me, and I can't wait to share it with all of you. This album is either a start for me in the worldwide music industry, or it's either the last one. It depends on how the public receives me and how they buy it. It's just that I put everything I have, everything I had, my blood, my sweat, my tears, basically everything into this album and it's production, and it's the best thing that I can offer, and if this doesn't succeed, then I guess it's not meant for me to break out in the global music industry, and I will rather just stay in my home country Germany if that happens. But if the public receives me well, then I might keep going with this, I might keep recording and releasing albums worldwidely in the future as well.

"BLACK ROSES"
LYRIC VIDEO
Earlier this week, Clare Bowen uploaded her first-ever VEVO video; it being the "Black Roses" lyric video. With the song debuting at #21 on last week's CAL chart, Bowen finally began breaking into the mainstream industry with the Nashville-migrated track. Being that she's not a big name of course, the lyric video had only received about ten thousand views within the first twenty-four hours. Considering Bowen is a relatively new artist, media outlets have only just started to pick up her music and check for her. The video itself was very beautiful- using a simply handwritten font while a tree of black roses had its petals fall all over the video. Clare would sit by the tree in a simple pale dress and pick up some of the petals from the floor, as well as play on a keyboard. Thanks to the video, the song was able to sustain its Top Three Country iTunes slayage- as well as get picked up by more Country stations in the nation. Many of Clare's fans were thrilled to see that the single was finally taking off somewhat and getting some proper treatment. Rumors of a Pop crossover promotion schedule and a more active promotion plan are circulating, as Revolution Records looks to make Clare Bowen highly successful.

Lena on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
WORD COUNT: 924
Earlier today, German singer and songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut, who just recently released her US debut single Trouble on January 12th via Universal Music and Indigo Records, is ready to unleash her music completely and all around the world. After her new single started climbing the charts and not only broke into the Top 10 in countries like US, but also reached number one position in Germany and United Kingdom, she finally confirmed that her new album, called Borderline, will be coming out on February 28th, and that she will also start her first worldwide tour, called The Borderline World Tour, the same in New York city. But right now, Lena is still pretty focused on promoting the thing that she has to promote at the moment, which is her brand new single Trouble, and which was produced and written by hitmaking team that consists Max Martin, Eg White, Sia Furler and others. Lena is off to an amazing year, with her new album coming out, her new single slowly but surely rising up the charts, and with two ECHO Awards under her belt, her year started amazing. However, Lena doesn't want to rest at all as she probably wants to achieve even more than she achieved so far, and that is why she is still promoting her single. Her latest stop during the Trouble promotional tour is The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on NBC on weekdays. On the show, Lena performed her new single, and also was interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres as well. She was wearing a dress that she wore to the ECHO Awards in Germany as well - it was a tight black dress with some sheer lines all over it that showed off some body parts but still hid every single places that needed to stay hidden, a pair of black leather ankle boots and golden accessories that made this whole look come together. Her hair was a bit curled and a bit messy at the same time, just falling down on her shoulders, but it looks nice. Overall, Lena looked on point and cute. The performance of Trouble was energetic and fun, Lena performed the orginal version of the song with her band behind her, and the performance was quite nice as all the people in the audience stood up for Lena and danced to the song, so it was nice to see how all the people just got together and danced no matter what once they heard the music. Lena's voice was more beautiful than ever, she sounded kind of impressing, actually, probably because she brought out two back up vocalists with her on the stage, and they helped Lena out during the performance and covered her up once Lena was out of breath or she couldn't hold particular notes long enough, and that's when those two back up vocalists where saving her. After her performance, Ellen came on stage and hugged Lena, thanked her for the performance, and lifted a physical CD of Trouble up showing it to the cameras and telling everyone to download it from iTunes now.
Ellen: Hello, Lena! You're quite a girl, honestly, you're really pretty! Did you use to model in Germany?
Lena: Oh, definitely not! Modelling is not for me, because I'm just this quirky girl and definitely not model material, and couldn't be a model because I'm really short, even high heels can't make me look high enough to be a model, but I represented L'Oreal hair products in Germany and France, and other Europe countries, and that is the closest I was to a model. Plus, it would be impossible for me to be a model, because I'm constantly eating stuff, and I know that you have to stay thin all the time, but I can't do that, I like to eat a lot, like, I eat anything I want, doughnuts, chips, pizzas, everything, and they I work it all out and I sweat it all out in gym. But when you're a model, you always have to think of what you eat, you have to calculate the colaries and stuff like that, and also you have to always be in the gym as well, so I couldn't be a model. Oh no.
Ellen: Your new album, Borderline, is coming out on February 28th, and it was executive produced by Max Martin. How did you two get together?
Lena: I basically found him, and told him that I want to work with him. He didn't know who I was, so I had to show him what I can do, what music I used to create, I played him my discography, and then he decided to make a few test songs with me to see if we could work together, and all the five songs that we recorded together and that were supposed to be test songs managed to end up on my upcoming album, because they were really good and really impressive. And so he liked my vision of what I wanted to do with my album and my songs, he liked my voice, and so that's why he agreed on working with me. Then, he introduced me to other producers, he helped me to completely shape up my album vision and he kind of put me on a track with what I wanted to do, and it was a mutual vision, because he understood what I wanted, and that's probably why we managed to work so well. And also, we became really good and close friends during that time.

"BLACK ROSES"
iTUNES BANNER
At the beginning of the week, iTunes would of course update their banners, Hot Songs, etc. Clare Bowen would be one of the artists who would be excited about that change. To promote her single "Black Roses", she had one of the banners on the homepage of the digital service, as well as keeping her main banner on the Country category of the service. With the single staying solid in the Top Three on the Country charts, Bowen has been captivating many Country fans around the nation with the buzz of her Nashville-migrated single. Due to the digital success of the single thus far, many Country stations have also been picking up the track and lots of streams from Country fans are currently being accumulated. Also, with the homepage banner, many Pop / Alternative / etc. listeners have also been exposed to the single, as many new listeners are beginning to use the song and enjoy it. As Clare’s fanbase is beginning to grow, sales for the song have been accumulating as well. This week Clare looks to hopefully crack the Top Twenty on the CAL chart, as well as gain more exposure for the track. Her self-titled album will be available on February 1st.

Forever Yours World Tour: Night 7 x NYC
NIGHT 7 X NYC
The wonderful, beautiful, and talented Taylor Swift was live in New York City tonight at Yankee’s Stadium to kick off her brand new tour entitled the ‘Forever Yours World Tour’. The tour will visit major cities across the globe in support of her first ever compilation album, a greatest hits record, which is titled ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’. From New York City, to Washington DC, to Los Angeles, to London, Tokyo, and Paris, the tour will visit all these spots as Taylor plans to give a huge show for a limited amount of dates.
When speaking about why the tour’s visiting so few dates, Taylor said there was a perfect explanation why. “I have something else in the works right now that I think will happen. It’s something I think the fans will love even more than the show you’re seeing now. It’s something way bigger than that and I feel like fans are going to be way more into it than the tour I’m starting tonight. So those who are upset I’m not visiting the smaller cities this time around, just wait. They’re coming. Just not yet, and just not with this tour. Bear with me please, I love you all. I hope you guys like the album.” Taylor spoke this in a video she posted on VEVO/her personal youtube channel.
The tour would continue at Yankee’s Stadium at seven eastern time. Stage production and stage setup would ensue for hours prior while Taylor would be off doing promotion, speaking to in an interview with Good Morning America that she was more than nervous for the show tonight, saying she was “scared senseless” but also “really damn excited” for the show and to see all her fans. “I’ve played Yankee Stadium like four times before so I’m not really nervous for that. I’m just nervous to see how the fans will react to the new arrangements of songs, the costumes, the massiveness of it all. It’s going to be really craze and I hope they really love it as much as I do. So here’s for wishful thinking.”
Over fifty thousand people would fill the arena ten minutes prior to the show as they awaited in silence for the singer-songwriter who just scored her ninth number one single ‘Style’ to come on stage. But first they would be greeted by Taylor’s opening act. The opening act for her tour would be none other than The Walking Dead actress Emily Kinney who would impress the audience with her soft and folk like vocals over her guitar. She would later come out during Taylor’s set to perform a duet version of the Tom Waits’ song ‘Hold On’ with Taylor before leaving the stage, but not without a hug from Taylor first.
The show would kick off with Taylor’s opening track from ‘1989’, one of the singer’s number one albums. The stage would light up in pink before dimming down again as black and white footage of New York would appear on the screen before a pink cursive like font would say ‘Welcome to New York, - Love Taylor”. A part of the stage would illuminate in pink and the doors would open revealing Taylor in a cute pink ensemble consisting of a pink sequined crop top with a tight skirt to match. She had her hand on her hip as she walked out the door to face the massive audience, a smile on her face as she strutted around the stage, moving her hips and body to the snap and snares in the song’s new production which gave the song a bit more of an electronic take than it’s original production.
The audience would go crazy as during the second verse dancers would pop out of parts of the stage that were being pushed up from the floor and lit up like city skyscrapers (MDNA Tour teas). Taylor would do a little dance routine with her backup dancers who would come out from behind them before belting out the chorus and bridge, her blue eyes and distinctive vocals capturing the audience’s attention before she would finish the song by walking out on the long catwalk that extended over fifty yards before finishing on the second part of the stage there. “Welcome to New York.” The singer should say nonchalantly before putting her hand on her hip and throwing her other hand up in the air. Pink fireworks would shoot up around the part of stage she was on before racing back along the catwalk and on center stage, creating a domino effect with the pink sparkles that shot up from the stage.
Other songs included on the tour included all of the singer’s number ones and included most of her top three hits sans ‘Psycho’, ‘I Swear’, and ‘Girl With The Red Lipstick’. Some new tracks from her Greatest Hits were included, such as ‘Too Good To Love’ as Taylor sang the song completely solo but Justin’s vocals were pre-recorded as a video montage would play for his part before the song would take a turn into the acoustic driven ‘Time After Time’ which was shortened down into just Taylor’s parts. Other new tracks included ‘Hold On’, which received a standing ovation from the audience, along with the promotional singles ‘Harvard Smiles’, and ‘Lipstick on His Collar’, both of which were greatly received by the audience.
Taylor put on an amazing show, critics and fans lauding Swift for her interactiveness with fans despite the huge setup and production of the show. A critic called Swift’s ‘Forever Yours Tour’ absolutely incredible and that she did nothing but prove the reason why she’s the leading lady in music and one of the biggest forces in pop music.

Forever Yours World Tour: Night 8 x LA
[SIZE="4"]NIGHT 8 X LA SIZE]
The wonderful, beautiful, and talented Taylor Swift was live in Los angeles tonight at the Rose Bowl on her new tour entitled the ‘Forever Yours World Tour’.
The tour would continue Yankee’s Stadium at seven eastern time.

Christina lights herself on fire in Times Square
+ performs Amethyst Bleach while melting

Mayday, mayday! There has been a great fire in the middle of New York City, Times Square specifically. Christina Aguilera put on a blaze ridden show for the local citizens of Midtown Manhatten yesterday morning as she set herself on fire while singing her equally fiery song Amethyst Bleach which serves as the third single for her recently released 8th studio album - Truth Pill. Passers by watched on as the flames dispersed Christina into burnt ashes. Some didn't even know it was Christina before she started singing that first note. It's been reported that Christina wanted to do something spectacular in the middle of New York City which is where the fire part came in. Now now, she didn't actually set herself on fire although it was probably the riskiest performance she has ever done in her career. Pyrotechnics were used in order to make sure that Christina didn't get hurt by the flames and was only an optical illusion like those artworks drawn on the ground where they look 3D if you stand at a certain angle. It was a grand spectacle that Christina made herself out to be. The entire performance was both visually stunning and entertaining. She looked like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
There was actually a campaign set up to forego what Christina was attempting to do and legal action could take place. However, in saying that, Christina definitely achieved what she originally wanted and that was to bring more awareness to her album - Truth Pill - and the fact that she's already moved onto her third single. This controversial move will probably do her more good than harm because Amethyst Bleach (as a song) is already extremely controversial in its nature but people are still purchasing the song and responding well to it as seen by the charts and the streaming points that it has generation which proves that Christina is clever in that sense. Christina Aguilera has always been a daredevil throughout her career. From going Dirrty to a more reserved image, Christina is a force to be reckoned with and should not be underestimated in that way amongst her more competitive peers.
Christina commented on her efforts to light herself on fire: "Well, it was a risky move. I literally just woke up one day and thought it would a great idea to sing while being incarcerated by the flames. Like, if anything happened, at least I went out with a bang. Y'know? It was definitely a weird yet enthralling experience and I would do it again under certain different circumstances. New York City needed a long deserved wake up call and that was mine! I can't wait to come back here for The Naked Truth Tour where I'll finally be able to tour worldwide. That's where I belong. That's what I've been waiting for. To get up on that stage and just perform, engage with my fans and feed our energy back to each other. We've got many things lined up and there are many things that are currently in preparation. 2015 is going to be an amazing year. I can feel it already! Yes, tickets for my world tour have been selling out like hot cakes but fear not. There will be more dates added gradually once I embark on the first leg so don't worry, you won't be missing a thing. Y'know, with Truth Pill, I put in so much effort into that record. I feel like it's finally time to share that with the world. Share that with the people who vilify me and whatnot. There's no point in not trying. I created a body of work that I feel the most proud of and nobody can ever take that away from me. It is extremely time consuming but I believe it's worth it. In the end, all of this will be worth it. I'm actually going to take my family onto the road with be so that should be very exciting. I love a good road trip! My crew, my family, my friends and my fans are definitely at my core. I have so much thanks to give to them. It's time for me to spread my wings and fly. I'm ****ing ready. Let's do this ****!"

CLARE BOWEN
PIG 95.7
Yesterday, Clare Bowen checked-in with New York’s biggest Country station, Pig 95.7. While there, she entertained with a brief interview and an acoustic performance of “Black Roses”, and “Looking For a Place to Shine”. Although maintaining her Country roots, Bowen’s album campaign was set to go mainstream / global in the near future- which would make promoting in New York a perfect mix of the both. She came in her normal fashion, wearing a pale dress with some small leather heels. She wore lots of wrist accessories of course, and her hair looked fantastic. When performing “Black Roses” and “Looking For a Place to Shine”, she sang with great passion and great appeal. Many listeners found her voice very comforting and cozy in a way, and the production team at the station had commended her efforts. The interview followed right after.
Host /// “So Clare, welcome to New York Country!”
Clare /// “Thank you.”
Host /// “So even though we’re not in Nashville, we’re still huge fans of the show, and of you. Did you embark on your solo journey based on the show; or was it something you’ve wanted to do for a while now?”
Clare /// “A little bit of both. I’ve always wanted to create some sort of album, play shows, and just be happy. Nashville was definitely a great start, a great platform, and I love being a part of the show- everyone there has been very supportive.”
Host /// “So why not sign with Big Machine?”
Clare /// “Like I’ve said in other interviews… Revolution Records just allowed more freedom with the whole process. I’m still growing and learning a lot- so I don’t want to have my music be rushed, or not up to a standard I’d like.”
Host /// “So there’s been lots of talk about you going Pop, mainstream, etc.- what’s the whole ordeal with that?”
Clare /// “I’m not a Pop artist. Not really. It’s just that with a single like ‘Black Roses’, there’s no real genre tag you can put on it. It’s a ballad- simple as that. So with this very broad single, we can send it to Country, Pop, Alternative, HAC, and many other formats. ‘Black Roses’ is just a single that you can do lots of magic with. I’m still a Country artist though, for sure. I don’t plan on making any EDM soon.”
Host /// “Do you consider yourself more Alternative than Country?”
Clare /// “Actually… I think I just might. I’m not really sure yet, about a lot of things actually!”
Host /// “So with this album, you’ve crossed over into lots of different genres with many little zests of different types of vocalization. Who are your inspirations?”
Clare /// “I’m a huge Etta James fan, as well as a Christina Aguilera fan. I also really love Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple and Lana Del Rey.”
Host /// “Speaking of Lana Del Rey, there’s been rumors of you beginning to do some soundtrack works. Can you confirm?”
Clare /// “I definitely do have some concepts for some people I’d like to work with. I’d definitely love to do a soundtrack song.”
Host /// “What else does the future hold for Clare?”
Clare /// “Well, my album comes out on February 1st. And I’m planning this incredible cute little tour as well as making lots of visuals. I’m just really excited about this whole campaign finally taking off, which should really hit hard next week.”
Host /// “Pleasure to have you stop in; good luck!”
Clare /// “Thanks for having me."

Lena on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
WORD COUNT: 790
German's biggest female artist Lena Meyer-Landrut, who is better known just as Lena, dropped by the ABC studios earlier today, where she did a mini two-songs long concert for the people who showed up to see her perform. Lena performed outside the studios, in the backyard of the studios, where a lot of her fans and people who just wanted to see who the hell this Trouble singing chick is, or they wanted to listen to good music. Lena not only performed her new single Trouble, which serves as the lead single from her debut US album Borderline (scheduled to drop on February 28th), but she also premiered a brand new Max Martin and Patrik Berger produced song called Crossroads, which is about constantly running into someone that you used to date but you now hate them with the bottom of your heart. Lena's brand new song Crossroads is a little bit darker than her new single Trouble, which is way more fun and uplifting and happy, while Crossroads is more dark, and filled with guitar sounds, and although it's still pop, but you can hear a lot of rock influences in this song. Crossroads is an upbeat song, just like Trouble, but it's more filed with anger than Trouble is filled with happiness and quirkiness. It's not confirmed just yet whether Crossroads will serve as the album's promotional single or whether it will be released as a main single later on, but one thing for sure is known that it definitely sounds like the song could be released as a single and sent to both AC, Alternative and Top 40 formats. Lena performed with exactly the same outfit that she performed with on The Ellen DeGeneres Show few hours before she went to ABC studios to film her Jimmy Kimmel Appearance - black tight dress with sheer lines all over it, black ankle leather high heeled booties and lots of gold jewellery. Lena is definitely a huge one of jewellery, and it looks like in her case, the more jewellery - the better. Lena served fire during both of the performances and looked really cool, she was feeling more energetic than ever as she was constantly walking around the stage, and at some points she even danced a little bit during Trouble with her bandmates who were playing on the stage right behind her. The stage was stylized as this huge and shiny black platform, that seemed like it was made of some kind of jewel or something, but it looked really classy and cool. Also, the surprising thing that probably shocked Lena in a good way was when people in the audience sang along with Lena.
Jimmy: Hey Lena! Your new album is supposed to drop on February 28th, is that true?
Lena: Yes, it's true, I can finally confirm it. My new album, which is called Borderline, is coming out on February 28th indeed and I'm really excited about that, I'm getting ready for that, I'm working a lot with the tracklist, and the cover, and the promo schedule, we're currently fixing up the promotional schedule, we're trying to come up with a good promotional tour that we could do, and this booking takes quite some time, because if we want to succeed on the charts, we have to do everything that is possible, and if we have to do everything that is possible, then we need to create a promotional tour that would be booked to the last minute, you know? All the plane tickets, all the car rides, all the McDonalds stops have to be counted in because when we're promoting, every second and every minute counts.
Jimmy: Wow, that's tight. What about your tour?
Lena: Ah, yes. I will be also launching my first ever world tour along with my album, on the same day that my album gets released, which is February 28th, I will start the tour in New York city, and it's going to be a wild journey. I'm working right now really hard on the setlist, we're trying to figure out with what we want to go, we're also rehearsing some stuf that I don't want to spoil just yet, basically, it's all coming up together really well but really slowly, but I guess it's not surprising that it takes a lot of time to make a tour happen, especially a world tour, because you have to figure out everything, you have to figure out the stage presence, you have to figure out a band, you have get the equippment ready, it's a long preparation to get even a small tour ready, and it takes way more than just few calls to get a worldwide tour ready. But we're trying our best.

The Naked Truth World Tour | Date #2 - San Francisco
[SAN FRANCISCO - STADIUM DATE]

Last night, Christina Aguilera performed at the second date of The Naked Truth World Tour which started off last week with a single stadium date at San Francisco which was just a simple taster of what's to come. This was also Christina's second time performing at the stadium in San Francisco. The stadium was newly renovated by its owners and there are extensive plans to expand the stadium even further and accommodate a larger capacity by the end of this year. Multiple sound checks were done before the actual concert itself was held and a dress rehearsal was needed just in case everything didn't go as seamlessly smooth as need be. Christina is very much invested in making sure that everyone has the time of their lives at her concert since she hasn't toured ever since Back To Basics back in 2006. So, in saying that, there's definitely a large proportion of people who are expecting big things - expecting this "big comeback" - from Christina Aguilera which is a lot of pressure and such a huge burden to put only on her shoulders. Having said that, Christina always manages to pull through somehow and this concert is no different. Christina will apparently be doing 250 shows by next year and, so far, she's only done 2 out of those 250 shows but not to worry! She has definitely set her sights on more places with more and more dates being added each day that goes by. The tickets that went up last week for the European dates have already sold out and London is said to be Christina's next destination after the Los Angeles dates that are also coming up this week. There won't be a specific leg for Europe and a specific leg for Asia and another leg for America. The dates are mostly mixed in together although there is a clear breach of routes taken so it won't be all that messy or time consuming for Christina Aguilera and her crew. It's also been said that Christina took her family with her on the road which is probably the best choice in this moment. They've hired out a huge tour bus where they will mostly all stay at and is more than enough for what they're aiming to do with this tour.
The concert in San Francisco started off really mellow with the first act, which is affectionately referred to as "The Awakening". These songs are more eye opening and ease you in compared to the rest of setlist where the songs are two extremes, "Karmasutra" and "Bon Voyage", excluding the "Encore" act which is essentially Christina just performing a few of her old hits. Everyone in the stadium responded greatly to Christina's morale as she brought the house down with her soaring vocals and rampant stage presence. She definitely looked as if she belonged up there. Her backup dancers accompanied her to breathe the performance even more life. The concert was a spectacle for the eyes and definitely went better than the first date which was also held in San Francisco. One of the highlights was Christina performing Grandfather Clock during the "Bon Voyage" act which is a song on her latest record called Truth Pill and is essentially about death. The concert took a somber turn in that moment although much of the audience was in awe at how heartfelt and soothing to the ears Christina's melodic sweet tone was which complimented the message found in Grandfather Clock. There weren't that many technical difficulties although Christina's microphone did stop working at a few points during the show throughout. It wasn't much of a fuss to be worrying over, however, we assume that Christina will definitely overlook that in preparation for the next upcoming dates that have yet to come. Los Angeles is coming up soon which means that this concert was Christina's last concert in San Francisco for a long while. Having said that, Christina will allegedly go back there next year as more dates have been added to the roster for the rest of the tour.

The Naked Truth World Tour | Date #3 - Los Angeles
[LOS ANGELES - STADIUM DATE]

Last night, Christina Aguilera performed at the third date of The Naked Truth World Tour which was preceded by her second concert in San Francisco that practically brought the entire house down. This was Christina's first time performing in Los Angeles for The Naked Truth Tour which was a feat in itself. Christina actually now resides in Beverley Hills so this was a piece of cake for her. She felt more comfortable being around what she already knows which is quite understandable if you think about it. The ride between San Francisco and Los Angeles was quite bumpy due to the cold weather and the snow. This meant that the tour bus had to take regular stops in order to stock up on food, water, fuel etc etc and other necessary "things" needed to take on board a tour bus in preparation for a worldwide tour. It wasn't just your regular road trip! They arrived there in the nick of time as Christina rushed to make sure everything was falling into place and that nothing went wrong. They did a few sound checks before the concert because, even though Christina lives in Los Angeles, the stadium there was still new territory for her especially when taking into consideration the amount of effort that has to go into doing the lighting and other technical stuff like that for example. The people in San Francisco are extremely friendly and upbeat so that definitely helped in gaining Christina's confidence before the concert started. Christina will apparently be doing 250 shows by next year and, so far, she's only done 2 out of those 250 shows but not to worry! She has definitely set her sights on more places with more and more dates being added each day that goes by. The Naked Truth World Tour | Date #5 - Glasgow
[GLASGOW - ARENA DATE]

Last night, Christina Aguilera performed at the fifth date of The Naked Truth World Tour which started off last week with a single stadium date at San Francisco which was just a simple taster of what's to come. This was also Christina's first time performing at the arena in Glasgow, Scotland. The arena was newly renovated by its owners and there are extensive plans to expand the arena even further and accommodate a larger capacity by the end of this year. Berlin is also coming up soon. Having said that, Christina will allegedly go back there next year as more dates have been added to the roster for the rest of the tour.

The Naked Truth World Tour | Date #7 - Berlin
[BERLIN - ARENA DATE]

Last night, Christina Aguilera performed at the seventh date of The Naked Truth World Tour which started off last week with a single stadium date at San Francisco which was just a simple taster of what's to come. This was also Christina's first time performing at the arena in Berlin, Germany. The arena was newly renovated by its owners and there are extensive plans to expand the arena even further and accommodate a larger capacity by the end of this year. The ride between London and Berlin was quite bumpy due to the cold weather and the snow. The tickets that went up last week for the European dates have already sold out and Paris is said to be Christina's next destination after the London dates that are also coming up this week.
The concert in Berlin started off really mellow with the first act, which is affectionately referred to as "The Awakening". The concert was a spectacle for the eyes and definitely went better than the first date which was held in San Francisco. One of the highlights was Christina performing Grandfather Clock during the "Bon Voyage" act which is a song on her latest record called Truth Pill and is essentially about death. Asia is also coming up soon. Having said that, Christina will allegedly go back there next year as more dates have been added to the roster for the rest of the tour.

Lena on KIIS FM
WORD COUNT: 824
Lena's promotional tour in United States is almost over, and to finish up and round up the tour, Lena chose to fly out to Los Angeles and pay a visit to KIIS FM radio station and Ryan Seacrest, who personally invited Lena to join their radio station for an exclusive performance on the radio and also to talk thing through about Lena's life. It seemed as if Ryan was extremely stoked to meet Lena, probably because he has been hearing her name all this past week and they have been playing Trouble on the radio as well, but he just didn't know who this new chick in the music industry is. It's actually pretty exciting and interesting to watch how Lena's brand new Max Martin and Eg White produced single is taking over the whole world as it's taking over the charts in basically every single mainstream market, including United Kingdom and United States, where Lena did huge promotional tours in order to promote the single and visited many different television shows and attended many different type of events as well. Few days ago, Ryan Seacrest personally invited the Trouble singer to come to their radio station in Los Angeles to talk about some stuff, and of course, Lena didn't waste the promotional oppurtunity and agreed. Today, after she had finished all of her promotion in New York city, she flied to Los Angeles and rushed off to KIIS FM studios. As it was expected, she was surprised by a group of her fans who brought their CDs and other merchandise with them, and Lena seemed to be happy to see all of her fans coming to see her. Obviously, Lena spent about ten or twenty minutes outside the KIIS FM studios just hugging and interacting with her fans, taking pictures with them, signing their stuff that had Lena's face on it, and also agreed to appear in one of her fans daily YouTube video blogs. It was nice to see how happy Lena felt when she was surprised by her fans, and she stayed for some longer time to talk with them and interact with them. When she talked with every single of them, Lena then went inside the KIIS FM studios and sat down with Ryan Seacrest to talk things through. Their interview was kind of long as they talked about her music, her upcoming album, new single Trouble and they also discussed its success, her tour that is about to take off in New York City, and basically other relavant things. Also, right after she was interviewed by Ryan, he asked Lena to sing one of her songs, and of course, Lena chose to perform Trouble, just as it was expected. Then, her guitarist joined her in the studio when he came and sat down next to Lena with his acoustic guitar in his hands, and then they started performing Trouble. Lena's voice was a bit tired and didn't sound as good as always, but she still went on and finished off her performance. Even though she didn't sound that good, but she still managed to serve pretty nice and cute performance, but nothing too special or good, and that's why they probably skipped the longer and higher notes and sticked with more laid back and slower version of the song.
Ryan: Lena, seriously, you got to tell me, where is Trouble video? We've been getting everything this week from you, except the video.
Lena: Oh, I'm really sorry about the video delay, it was supposed to come out on Friday, but we had to delay it for one more day. I think it's about to come out, according to the director of this video, they're working really hard on editing it and it's about to be finished and launched. I think in an hour it will be up on my VEVO channel, at least I hope so, unless the director tells me that they couldn't finish the video so fast. Basically, we shot it on Monday, when I was visiting United Kingdom, and we shot it in London with this cool group of editors and stylists and director and everyone else. It was a huge team and we wanted to have the best result of this video, because I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do with this video, so we just decided to do something cool and nice. I can say one thing about the video - it has some throwback things involved. Uh, not going to spoil anything else, just way and you will see.
Ryan: How is your rehearsals that you're doing for tour?
Lena: It's a really slow process, we're slowly but surely working on putting this tour together, and it's harder than I thought it would be, honestly. It's just all that process with the stage and everything else can be really tiring, but we're doing everything we can to put it together.
