Enrique being a judge on an American singing competition would not sit well with a lot of people knowing his vocal abilities when he tries to sing in English. It would work with any Latin American edition, but in my opinion it's a waste of time because people in Latin America really don't buy music.
That said, he should really do it in a European country like Spain or the UK. People will actually care to buy his music and there will be free promo slots.
