I think at least college algebra and statistics should be required. But calculus and all of the other higher level math classes shouldn't.

High School is where the most important math is. Middle School math ain't **** compared to High School math. Middle School math isn't going to help you through life.

I don't need help problem solving things that aren't math related
I just don't get the polynomial, square root, sets, and quadratic stuff

math isn't the be all end all of problem learning

Looking back I don't see a difference in the quality of my life experiences post high school math compared to middle school math.

OMG you replied to my previous post and it answered this exact predicament you're providing , i didnt say you needed advance math knowledge to use in real life , what you could use are the real life skills given by maths.

plus i dont understand polynomial etc etc too
