Bangerz - 591,000 TEA (in 2014)
Updated US sales:
Wrecking Ball - 3.64m
We Can't Stop - 3.28m
Source: RCA per HDD
nnn @ the Adore You sales snub, poor iT.
WCS and WB were both certified 3x platinum in January 2014 so that goes to show you how much they've sold in this year alone.

WB and WCS brought in ~92,000 in TEA (this year) and Bangerz has sold an estimated ~320,000 in the US this year. That means she has sold an additional 179,000 copies in other tracks (incl. Adore You) from the album (aka 1,790,000 copies).

Do My Thang ha power.
What was the last update on her album track sales? Like 1.2 million or something? Was that including Adore You before it was a single?

Every 10 digital singles sold is equivalent to one album sale.
Wrecking Ball - 3.64m
We Can't Stop - 3.28m
Adore You - 1.2m
non-singles: 1.1m
= 9,220,000
9,220,000 / 10 = 922,000
So Bangerz has sold roughly 1.1 million copies in the US in raw/traditional album sales but with TEA added it's just above 2 million.
With SEA (stream equivalent albums, 100 streams = 1 album sale) it would be near or around 3 million hihi.

She was at around 1.1 million from that HITs thing a while ago (I'm 99% sure it was before Adore You was released). The 1,790,000 figure is only from TEAs this year too.
Adore You probably sold around 1 million copies this year which leaves 790,000 in album track sales in 2014 alone.

Does 30 million albums and 40 million singles sold seem accurate to everyone else?

The Mediatraffic update has Can't Be Tamed @ 800,000. It sold 647,000 during it's charting time on Mediatraffic (dropped out @ week 38 of 2010 / week of September 25).
The album ended the year with 286,000 copies sold. Only 180,000 US copies were counted by Mediatraffic before it fell out of their albums chart. That leaves us with another 106,000 copies not counted by Mediatraffic, bringing the total to 753,000 copies.
Later, we got an update that Can't Be Tamed 350,000 copies. Using that figure and subtracting the 286,000 it sold in 2010 we get 64,000 copies sold in just the US. That brings the total for Can't Be Tamed to 817,000 copies.
I don't really have reason to believe Can't Be Tamed has only sold 800,000 copies when using JUST US receipts brings it to 817,000 copies. I really doubt it's sold 0 copies outside the US in 5 years.

Yeah, I really don't get Mediatraffic. They've been underestimating her sales from day one and that doesn't seem to be the case for her peers (Bye @ K&T selling 100K since last year)
Like, Breakout sold over 2,330,000 based off outdated certifications from 7 years ago + known sales.
US: 1,600,000
UK: 315,000
Germany: 100,000
Australia: 70,000
Japan: 50,000
Spain: 40,000
Italy: 30,000
Canada: 30,000 (1st week)
Brazil: 30,000
Ireland: 15,000
Philippines: 15,000
New Zealand: 15,000
Austria: 10,000
Poland: 10,000
It's full Canadian sales alone should be enough to put past 2,500,000. They really do hate her.

Source: @chartsmcyrus from Twitter. The album sales are grossly inflated for Breakout, Meet Miley Cyrus and the Karaoke Series but besides that, they did a pretty good job . After Bangerz, Miley's officially the best-selling artist born in the 90's, if I'm not mistaken.

Karaoke Series seems pretty accurate actually (if they're combining all of them into one figure) The first three sold like 315,000 in the US (and that's not including The Movie Karaoke, HM 3 Karaoke and all of the Sing Along series karaoke albums).
I wish we had updated figures for ALL of her releases, she's probably sold so many albums if you were to total up every little release. Sales juggernaut.

ffff not Media Traffic updating their Can't Be Tamed sales figure up to 850,000. I'd still reckon that's low-balling it. That's only an additional 33,000 outside the U.S. in over 5 years (not to mention this included another THREE months of sales in 2010 and the 2010 Christmas sales season).
The LOWEST I'd estimate for Can't Be Tamed based on all of this is 925,000 (and that's still being a biT conservative).

What do you guys think?
Can't Be Tamed sales breakdown
North America -
US: 355,000
Canada: 45,000
= 400,000
Europe -
UK: 65,000
Germany: 60,000
France: 35,000
Spain: 30,000
Italy: 20,000
Portugal: 15,000
Ireland: 10,000
Switzerland: 10,000
Austria: 10,000
Poland: 10,000
Belgium: 5,000
Netherlands: 5,000
Norway: 5,000
Others: 20,000
= 300,000
Oceania -
Australia: 50,000
New Zealand: 10,000
= 60,000
Asia -
Japan: 45,000
Philippines: 30,000
Others: 10,000
= 85,000
Lattin America -
Brazil: 45,000
Mexico: 20,000
Argentina: 20,000
Others: 15,000

Total is almost 950K. And we also have MTV confirming 1 million two years ago so I think 950-1 million is fine.

I mean, it was charting on the Itunes Top 1500 just a few days ago when I made this potentially legendary click-baiting thread (that was unfairly closed btw !).

And I'm sure the Bangerz release gave it a push internationally.
The Media Traffic owner clearly stans for the "Falling Down" songbird considering he was disgustingly BIASED against the innocent Miss Cyrus, so take it with a grain of salt. Anticipating's receipts >>>.
P.S: Karaoke selling legend.
