They don't care.

The #1 rule in journalism is relevance and most people don't know where Bogo is and they are not concerned with black Africans being murdered. They think of Africa as like one place [many speak of it like it's a country

] where everyone is black and poor. They can't identify with them and have no interest in it. The only time tragedies in non-white countries get reported if there are western lives affected or there's an agenda to push. People want to see news about Islamic militants so those Pakistani school children being shot got media attention everywhere. Otherwise they don't care.
India gets terrorist attacks too, but they only covered one because the Pakistani terrorist went to hotels and killed western tourists too.

And then the media trivialized the attacks by calling it 'India's 9/11' even though India had worst attacks with more dead.

Even the local media covered it more.
Some people are valued more than others. Sad fact.

Because people around the globe get coverage on the west's tragedies. It's a rude awakening when people realize they don't get the same concern.
