No Mario Kart

No single platform game made it. Super Smash Bros was the closest we got and it was only on one company's platforms.

Mario Kart 8 did 885,000 copies by the end of the June 2014 NPD so it probably did almost 2M (which is a humongous number for a single platform game). In Japan it is about to pass 900k. Globally it is between 4-4.5M.

EDIT: Nintendo announced 1.7M for it in America. That means every game that made the list is above 1.7M in America.

Surprised ORAS isn't here tbh I thought it had like 1.5M first week sales lol. Didn't think it'd drop off so fast.

Updated with exact Nintendo numbers. All games listed are above 2.6M because Pokemon ORAS, which didn't sell enough to chart, did 2.6M in the U.S.
It sold 2.6M in the U.S. and over 2.2M in Japan. It has been out 2 months and did around 6M globally.

Please keep in mind NPD is for the U.S. only. In Japan, it is at 2,432,659 and did 38,420 copies this week (#2 for all software). It will easily cross 3M before the end of the year if it does 30k+ in the weakest time of the year.
