That's also another point I wanted to touch, this is Meghan's debut album she hasn't yet an established fanbase like Ariana that came from a hit tv nickelodeon show, ME was also her second album but despite having the "biggest hit worlwide xD" she only did 31k copies more first week.

Ariana stage wise is like a rock, persona wise she is stuck up all tho she tires to conceal it, she has a good vocals but doesn't know how to use them and it doesn't help all her songs have the word "featuring" attach to them, truth is she just doesn't have the interest factor that it takes to be a pop star, her huge streaming to awful sales ratio prove it

Wasn't it on pre-order for several months. Like when All about that bass was slaying at #1 on iTunes for months on end. Tbh if Ariana put her album on pre-order when her lead single launched it would have debuted with 200k+ although I'm satisfied with her opening numbers tbh. I don't think that she will outsell her WW tho

I knew this thread was coming, a lot of people that I've spoken to had thought Meghan's sound should have been the sound Ariana had for her second album. A part of the reason why Ariana's album didn't sell as much is because the GP weren't really interested in Break Free as they were with Problem.
