Chris Martin: "Natalie Imbruglia has our BEST song ever"
Chris Martin says he gave Natalie Imbruglia Coldplay's "best song" for her new album.
The Aussie singer recorded the track, which Martin named 'Scars', for her forthcoming fourth studio album 'Come To Life'.
"A bit annoyingly we've given her the best Coldplay song of all time," Chris jokingly told Australia's Herald Sun. "But because we're off-cycle we can't do it ourselves."
"Half of me wishes we still had it." Martin revealed. "But she sounds f*****g brilliant on it. I think she has a very unique talent and an incredibly unique voice."
'Come To Life' doesn't have an exact release date but is rumoured to be scheduled for May. Natalie Imbruglia last released the album 'Counting Down The Days' in 2005.C
Wow how eerie, I was just listening to her song "Sanctuary" yesterday and reminiscing on how much I miss her. White Lilies Island holds a special place in my heart, I can't wait to hear her new material. Although it seems silly for Coldplay not to just wait until the end of this year to release this track with their next album.
