Erm. Teenage Dream is pretty widely agreed upon by pretty much everyone, both on this site and off, by fans and critics alike, as her best song. What even is the competition? Hot N Cold? Firework? Dark Horse?

I feel like this level of adoration can only come over time. A song has to be judged for a while before it can be deemed a classic. Like, Style might become as widely beloved and acclaimed as Teenage Dream is now, but that'll only become known after it's been given enough time to age and be judged thoroughly enough for a consensus to form. Something tells me it won't be, though, given that the song is kinda terrible.
And I've always loved Teenage Dream. It's easily one of my absolute fave songs, and I don't even stan Katy.
