Robbie, not that I'm planning on signing a DJ or producer, but if I did I have a question:
Is the collab rule still in play? Because that'd basically force the artist to have two singles and then be done with the era.

I released a solo single as Zedd before releasing Temple with Gaga. The collab rule also only applies to signed artists. So, Zedd could release singles with, for example, Matthew Koma and Miriam Bryant even if he already had songs with two signed artists.
Also, I believe it applies to the album as well. No more than three signed artists (including the album artist) on the album.

Gemini Tour Day 4
Opening Act: FKA twigs
Azealia played the fourth night of the Gemini Tour today where she performed some of her most popular songs as well as songs off of her new album, The Dying Stars. The fourth night in Atlanta, Georgia (second night in a row) was completely sold out for the second time and had traffic for days outside of the infamous stadium. All copies of The Dying Stars were sold out in all merchandise booths throughout the stadium. Be sure to buy a ticket to the Gemini Tour today as well as buy The Dying Stars today.
The stage of the Gemini Tour is truly something else. The stage's floor is made of LED screens built and formed to create and look like a night sky from the audience. The same is for the LED screens that stood tall behind Azealia as she performed on stage. Overall, Azealia's entire stage heavily fit the theme of space and astrology. Throughout the show Azealia made numerous references to horoscopes with interludes consisting of Azealia quoting different horoscopes starting with Capricorn and ending with Sagittarius at the end of the show. The name of the show Gemini Tour is named after Azealia's own star sign as it is something that is heavily influenced her throughout her travels and advancement throughout the past few months with the creation of The Dying Stars era. Azealia ended the show by performing Accretion as black glitter fell from the ceiling covering the entire audience as she sang the emotional and beautifully fast paced song. The crowd went wild for Azealia's performance and so far reviews have been great stating the following:
"An amazing show from Azealia Banks! A complete step up from her past tour The Lift Off!" -Entertainment Weekly
"Azealia proved to the world yesterday that she is more than a singles artist and an albums artist, she can perform live as well! The Gemini Tour is something that everyone should take the time to see. If you get the chance, be sure to see Azealia do what she does best, perform!" - Rolling Stone

Do tour dates boost single sales as well as album sales? If so, I think that's a little unrealistic. Usually the people who see an artist on tour already have the album or will buy it soon after the concerts (if they like it of course), making getting the single pointless. Unless the tour is in support of a single or two ( ), the tour will be promoting a whole album or EP.
I just don't want Ari on the singles chart to be decimated by all these people doing tours
Also, I believe the week is Saturday @ noon to Saturday @ noon. Egle tried to make it start and end on Friday beginning last week but (s?)he pushed it back to Saturday

Distant World Tour: Day #2 - 01/14/15 - Olympic Stadium, Beijing - China
Tour Article [303 Words]
Cara Delevingne performed last night the second date of the 'Distant World Tour' which seems like it's going to be one of the most successful tours this year, as Cara is effortlessly selling out stadiums all around the world. The concert was held at China's Olympic Stadium, and was opened by a set by fellow label mate Ryn Weaver who performed all four songs which were included on her Promises EP. Cara's performance was impressive and beautiful, Cara having impressed the crowd with her vocals which have been getting better and better every night, with her dance moves due to the heavily choreographed performances throughout the night for all the different songs, the theatrics, as the stage was just beautiful with it's depiction of a palace merging a classic or Antique aspect with modern aspects or visuals, and was compared to a modern version of Kylie Minogue's own stage during her Les Folies Tour back in 2011. The concerts was held in 4 acts and showed a stage that looked like a cavern opening with gigantic rock walls all around the stage with some precious gems encrusted in it and a screen behind the rocks. Charli XCX on Le Grand Journal
324 Words
After promoting in both in the US and the UK Charli flew to France for the promotion of her album 'SUCKER' which was released this week along with the single of the same name, which is a follow up to her smash hit single 'Boom Clap' which reached the 8th spot on the Hot 100 and the single break the rules which charted on the charts.
She started her appearance on the show wearing a dark blue long dress performing 'Caught in the Middle', the performance was however shortened and two dancers came out on stage and took Charli's dress off leaving a red leather bikini and she started singing with an impressive energy and great vocals her single 'Sucker'.
After the wild performance Charli sat down for an interview during which she discussed several topics which went from her brand new album 'SUCKER' to speaking of her family but she also talked about topics such as her new tour the 'SUCKER' world tour, on which she performed two dates in a row at Wembley Arena and during which she's also performing in Paris, at the Stade de France to be exact in just a few hours. "My fans are dedicated to the point where they just know where I could be during a regular weekend and try to see me over there. It's really fun actually, I love seeing fans trying to see me on my regular days while they try to hide themselves to give me some free time, they are such good fans." she said when she started talking about her fans. "I'm so happy to have been brought to Variety Records, I got signed there at the same time as Cara Delevingne back in 2013 and we got really close. Working with her was amazing."
Charli XCX's new album 'SUCKER" is now available digitally and physically worldwide and features the smash hit singles 'Boom Clap', 'Break The Rules' and 'Sucker'.

Lena on Schlag den Raab
WORD COUNT: 2197
German's biggest recording artist and songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrut, who is probably better known just as Lena, is one of the hardest working people in the industry, and never gives up on her dreams and the things that she wants to achieve even if someone tries to hold her down. Even though Lena didn't quite breakout in 2010 after winning Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, she never gave up on her hopes and waited for her moment to come. Sure, Lena's song "Satellite" became a hit all over the Europe, it got certified in few countries, and people still know this song to this day when they hear it on the radio or playing on TV. Lena signed a record label deal right after she won Eurovision Song Contest back in 2010 - she signed a record deal with Universal Music, but sadly, only by Universal Music Germany, which made her stay in Germany. However, even though Lena didn't have the chances to break out globally, she made sure to milk her home country Germany and released three albums there, which two of them went number one and her one, her latest released album "Stardust", was blocked by another artist and had to peak at number two. After her latest album "Stardust", Lena decided to disappear from the music scene for a while for unknown reasons but she sure managed to build her own brand in Germany, as she represented L'Oreal products in Germany and France, voiced few movies, became the face of Doosh, recorded a song with her longtime mentor called "Revolution" and also became a judge on the German version of The Voice Kids, so she was slowly but surely building the hype all this time. Now, a few days ago, Universal Music announced that they had signed a global deal with a German recording artist Lena and that Indigo Records - a home to many successful artists like Zendaya - will be taking care of Lena's career in United States and United Kingdom, while Universal Music will be promoting and spreading Lena's music elsewhere except Germany, where Universal Music Germany will be responsible for Lena's chart success and releases. Lena didn't waste a minute as shared the exciting news on her social media as well right after Universal Music's announcement, saying that "she is really excited and hyped to share her music and her vision with the whole world, and that Indigo Records is the label that will help her to reach out to people."
Few days later after Universal Music announced that Lena had signed a global record deal with Indigo Records and Universal, they also released her brand new single "Trouble", which Lena's album's lead single and her global debut, because it's the first song by Lena that was released outside Germany/Europe. Although the single is yet to debut in Top 1500 on American iTunes, but someone from Universal Music and Indigo Records, a reliable insider who has worked with Lena on her debut US/global album, confirmed that she is planning to take appear on about fifteen different TV shows and festivals this week, and pose for few magazines too. And the song is expected to chart even without the promotion as well, because it's really catchy, it's a great tune with great lyrics that make you want to dance, and it's produced by hitmakers Eg White and Max Martin, and the latest producer is a really important and big name in the music industry because he is an excellent producer and songwriter, who is responsible for most of 2014 hits, including number one singles Bang Bang, Shake It Off, Problem, Blank Spaces and others.
At the moment, Lena is getting ready to fly to United States, where she's going to make her American TV debut on The Voice, and where she is going to promote her brand new single "Trouble" by performing on TV shows, festivals, events, award shows and other things. However, it seems as if Lena is not ready just yet to ditch her home country Germany where she started her career and where she was discovered, because she before she flied out to America, she decided to shoot an appearance for German TV show Schlag den Raab before her flight to America. During the show, Lena sat down with her long time mentor Stefan Raab, who discovered back in 2010, and had a long talk with him about their memories, about Lena's future, new music, her English skills and basically every single thing. The interview was really long, but it was really interesting and entertaining as well, because the episode had huge rating numbers. It was a really nice interview and it was fun to watch how Stefan and Lena talk like they're just friends and like cameras aren't filming them, it was just ar really warm interview and they talked about so many things. Later during the show, Lena appeared on the stage with her band where she performed her brand new single "Trouble". Although Lena seemed to be really nervous because her voice was shaking just a little bit in the start and she wasn't as confident as always, she was just standing infront of her microphone stand right in the center of the stage without moving a lot or doing any kind of move with her hands or hips or legs or whatever, but that's only it was the first time ever she was performing this song live, she probably didn't even rehearse for the performance before it because of her tight schedule, but later on during the performance, she pulled herself together, lifted her chin, straightened up and sang really well, moved a lot around the stage and acted carefree as she was smiling, spinning around and making this performance look really fun. It's pretty obvious that Lena's voice isn't that strong and it's far from being Adele, Emeli Sande or other great singers-esque, and it may even come off as annoying sometimes, but if the song that Lena is signing is really well-produced and produced in the way to suit Lena's interesting and unique in a way voice, then she can sound like a really good and skilled singer that is able to hit higher and lower notes, and also who is able to hold a longer note for at least five or more seconds - depends on Lena is feeling in the moment: if she's too tired or her throat is too dry, then she might hold the note for only like five seconds, but if she's feeling good, if she's feeling rested and if she's rehearsed before the performance than she might even hold the note for ten or longer seconds. Besides, "Trouble" seems to be the song that was particulary produced by Max Martin for her, not for any other artist, because Lena's voice sounds really strong on the song, and there are not so many long or high notes, but it's not that obvious and the song doesn't lack those type of things. There are sometimes situations when producers record the song and then just give it away to whoever wants the song, but in this case, it seems as if Max Martin got together with Lena and he created something special with Eg White for her.
INTERVIEW:
Stefan: Oh, Lena, it's been a long time since the last we had seen each other! How are you doing?
Lena: I'm doing better than ever, Stefan, honestly, the things are just coming up together, everything is now working out exactly the way I want and the way I wanted it to work our for a long time, and I just can't wait to share everything that I've come up with during the past few years. I signed a global record label deal with Universal Music, and I signed with Indigo Records in United States and United Kingdom, so I'm really excited to go there and start promoting my new single, which is out on iTunes right now by the way, go buy it if you like it, I will be performing it later tonight.
Stefan: What made you want to expand your career? To release your music not only in Germany, but in other countries like United States and United Kingdom, or Australia, or even Japan?
Lena: I honestly wanted this type of career for a long time, it's just I didn't have any kind of chance to break out. I didn't want to be only a German act and stay in Germany forever, as much as I love Germany, but I want to be... bigger than I am in Germany. I want to go to America, I want to perform on their shows, I want to go to Australia and perform on their shows as well, I don't want to be that little German act anymore, I want to go with full force and be a global artist. And... why now? Well, I didn't have a chance to release my music worldwidely before, and I had to wait a long time, more than four years, to finally release something that could be huge not only in Germany, but basically worldwidely. I'm really excited for the things that should happen pretty soon, I can't wait for all the surprises that should happen in a month or so.
Stefan: Let's talk your brand new single, "Trouble". The song was produced by Max Martin and Eg White, am I right? How did you three link up together?
Lena: It's actually a funny story. So, back in February 2014, when I found out Universal Music had signed me on the record label and they told me to start working on my first official worldwide debut album, I started freaking out because I didn't know what to do. Basically, they just gave me this huge budget to record the album, and they told me that I have to give them back a full-length album with 16 tracks on it. At first, I was lost, as I didn't know what to do or where to go. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, and besides that, I wasn't sure how to start producing an album or anything. You know, you can be your own executive producer, but then you have to find everyone and everything by yourself, and in Germany, it's pretty easy for me to find producers and people that I want to work with, but when it comes to producers that are known outside Germany, I didn't know where to go or what to do. I didn't have any kind of contacts or numbers, anything. So when we finalized with Universal in April, Ariana Grande released her new single "Problem", and it became my instant jam. I loved the song, and then I searched for the guy who produced it, and I found out that none other than Max Martin produced her hit. When I listened to the song that he has produced, I knew that I wanted him to be my executive producer and I wanted him to help me to create this album. So I called my Swedish label, I told them that I need to contact Max Martin, I need his adress and everything that they can get. And the only thing that they told me was that he was about to have a session in this little recording studio in Sweden, and as soon as they told me that, I went online, booked my tickets to Sweden and went to that studio. Obviously, Max didn't know who I was, and I was almost literally on my knees, I was really nervous so I was having trouble with my English accent, and I'm pretty sure it was hard for him to understand me, but soon after I played my discography for him, he agreed to executive produce my album. Then, he somehow contacted Eg White, and he polished the song a little bit more, made it really perfectly shaped, and that was it. And "Trouble" was the fifth song that I recorded with Max, and right after he played the finished version of it, I knew I wanted to make this song my first and lead single, because it perfectly helps people to shape up the sound of this album - it's all something of quality, it's really clean and clear, but it's pop.
Stefan: What about the album?
Lena: Well, the album is not quite finished yet, we still have to record few more songs, and we also have to work out the release date and things like that, but right now, it's in a really good shape and it's coming up to be a great album that should be out by the end of February I think? I don't want to confirm any kind of date just yet, and I don't even want to estimate the date, because I'm a little bit unsure with my promo schedule or the other stuff, but it should come out in the next few months, I'm pretty sure about that. It's mainly produced by Max Martin, with some help from his team, and I also worked with some German producers like Bosko and Swen Meyer.

Cara Delevingne Releases 'Distant Horizon' Vinyl and Box Set
501 Words
After reaching the second position on the charts worldwide and reaching the top of the charts in multiple countries all around the world, Cara Delevingne just released brand new versions of her album, in an effort to push the album's already great sales.
The first version is a Vinyl of the album, which features all the track up to the deluxe edition of the album, and can be found at most retailers still selling vinyls and on Cara's official website for a special price of 7.99 dollars for this week only, which is an incredibly low price for a Vinyl album, but Cara and her management are confident in sales to compensate for that, as Cara's debut album sold well on Vinyl and she is predicted to have the highest selling album on vinyl in ages, as she is predicted to sell over 60,000 copies within the first Vinyl week. "Vinyls are slowly coming back, they are a new trend emerging. After they just disappeared they are slowly coming back and we would like have the highest amount of sales possible from this album." The vinyl currently has over 600 thousand copies available worldwide, including through her store, Amazon, Ebay and retailers worldwide.
Aside from the vinyl, Cara just released as well a box set which features various items. The box set is also set to sell an impressive amount copies within the week, giving the album a major push just like the vinyl. The box set features the Deluxe CD, the physical edition of the singles 'La Belle' and 'Honey', a book composed of over 100 photographs of Cara, all from photoshoots. A few pictures in the form of polaroids, Cara took pictures from the recording sessions of the album and the work and process through it. There's a total of 20 polaroid pictures, all of them has a few notes by Cara written on the back. There's also a Cara Delevingne shirt, along with a large poster and a smaller one. In the box set there's also a discount code for tickets to the Distant World Tour, which Cara started a few weeks ago. Both the box set and the vinyl feature ITunes codes for 'Honey' which will make it available for free on ITunes once redeemed, but still count as sale since they are part of the Vinyl and the box set's sale price.
"I'm absolutely in love with both the Vinyl and the Box set of Distant Horizon, which are both now available worldwide!" said Cara through ITunes. Ever since of the release of both the vinyl and the box set, they went straight to the top 3 of the highest sold items on Amazon and have been on top ever since the release. Be sure to check out Cara Delevingne's debut album 'Cara' as well which was discounted to 5.99$ on ITunes and 6.99$ physically, along with the brand new album 'Distant Horizon' which is now available and features the smash singles 'Honey' and 'La Belle'.

Cara Delevingne calls RTL Radio
537 Words
Cara Delevingne is currently in asia (China to be precise) on her brand new world tour the DIstant World Tour, promoting her brand new album titled 'Distant Horizon' which has so far been very successful and reached the second spot on the charts selling over 650 thousand copies and the album features some very succesful songs, such as the lead single 'La Belle' which also reached the second spot on the charts, and her promotional single 'Kiss To My Heart' which reached the Top 15 easily. Her brand new single which was previously as a promotional single (with a #12 peak so far) is 'Honey' and Cara jsut called RTL Radio in Germany for an interview concerning the single, as part of the european promotion for it this week.
Host: We now have on the line the one and only Cara Delevingne, Hey Cara how are you?
Cara: Oh I'm feeling amazing! I'm on tour and it's doing great and the whole show is amazing, I really love that, you know, the feeling of being on tour.
Host: And when are you coming to Germany? We're still waiting for you!
Cara: Really soon actually, not only I'm touring there in just a few weeks, I'm also going to be on TV and all. I'm happy because Germany and Europe usually has been a very supportive market and constantly buys my music.
Host: Tell us about the new single 'Honey', when did you think that Azealia Banks should be featured on the remix of it?
Cara: Well it's just that I always wanted her to be on one of my songs. She's a very creative artist and I'm really happy I got to work with her for this. I can't wait to work with her some more but for more original material rather than just remixes.
Host: Let's play it now!
*Honey Remix (Feat. Azealia Banks) plays*
Host: It's honestly a great song, and remix makes it even better because of Azealia being on it. Who would you like to work with in the future?
Cara: Well I would like to have more collaborations on my albums rather than mostly remixes. I'd love to work with Azealia Banks as I just said, but with Kanye West, I've wanted a collaboration with him for some time, it was supposed to happen on Distant Horizon but he had to cancel he's involvement in the project. Britney Spears as well, she's a legend in my opinion, she's always been one of my favorite artists out there and Taylor seems nice.
Host: What do you think of the success you've gotten so far?
Cara: I'm so happy about it and about how supportive my fans were so far. I'm thankful especially about the success 'La Belle', 'Distant Horizon' and 'Honey' got.
Host: ok thank you for answering those questions, next up we're playing Cara Delevingne's new single 'Honey'!
*Honey Plays*
Cara Delevingne's interview started hyping her in Europe as she did small promotion over there besides the UK and France, and Cara Delevingne's album 'Distant Horizon' was back to the top spot on the ITunes charts in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and other European ITunes charts just like her single 'Honey'.
