Epic has a lot of income from some very successful artists.
Michael Jackson continually brings in revenue for Epic that will ensure that this label never files for bankruptcy.
Fifth Harmony are currently building hype, and have a hit currently in the UK. Sara Bareilles and a Great Big World had pretty big hits in the last year.
Then they have artists who continually tour and promote outside of the U.S. such as Avril Lavigne who brings in a lot of revenue from Asia and South America, and is consistently touring.
Ozzy Osbourne is consistently touring also.
Meghan Trainor is currently their biggest artist hype-wise, but I can't see her turning into anything huge tbh? Her album is very samey sounding, and it doesn't seem she has much up her sleeve. I can see her being a Lorde 2.0. Epic will continue to rely on the smaller revenues of their more stable artists such as Ozzy and Avril, and the huge income provided by the ongoing sales of Michael's records.

1. The Jackson estate gets most of the money.
2. Fifth Harmony isn't bigger than her.
3. The money Avril makes outside the country doesn't go to Epic (USA)
4. Labels don't make much money off of touring.
