to simplify i think its sort of like : why be fearful of something that you've loved so much just because there is a potential threat lurking around
I mean, I get that statement, but the Expanded Consciousness logo in the corner is the reason I'm looking more into it. I know what Expanded Consciousness is, but I haven't looked at their views and I'd like to know more.
no just an hour ago I walked to the playground to do pull ups at the bar but the lights didn't work and it was scary af.
I'm not afraid of the dark but of the psychos that hide in it
unfortunately mugging, raping and hate crime aren't uncommon here. the stars were amazingly beautiful though, I appreciated them even though I nearly shat my pants
But the stars aren't just little dots. They're enormous unknown blazing hot spheres somewhere millions of miles away. And what's past that? And before them that we can't see? The stars aren't as friendly as they appear
Is it like "I have loved life too much to be afraid of death"? Like all the positives in this world outweigh the negatives. For all the sadness that life has to offer (war, death of relatives, cancer, racism, homophobia, the unknown) they're "outshone" by the positives of love and the relationships we build (and moments we share) with those we love.

yes, kinda, but more like I am not afraid of what scares, like lonliness, sorrow, etc., because I know the beauty that comes with the knowledge of ourselves
To say it with Madonna:
Quote:
I have a tale to tell
Sometimes it gets so hard to hide it well
I was not ready for the fall
Too blind to see the writing on the wall
