Discussion: Why can't we talk about Africa/The Middle east?

it seems like we can talk about issues in western white countries but when we try to talk about issues in Africa and The Middle east the threads get closed down right away?

the middle est is always brought up and discussions about it always happen.
unfortunately i have no idea why Africa is off the map here. like threads about africa get closed in seconds. or they get ignored completely

It's also weird how threads about gun violence stay open while threads about animal crualty usually get closed

I guess because there is always the danger of making generalizations about those regions plus they are underdeveloped economically and socially so there is going to be lots of disparaging comments

People on this site are very ignorant towards life in other countries in general. It's for the best to avoid talking about them because most members end up coming off as racist.
