although he said he is a little boy crying i dont think he ment it in the disrespectful way. i think he ment it as in Muhammed is human, and we are forgiving of these acts because they go against what Muhamed taught ?
also its a way to make the terrorists sound closer to us then distant. the comparison he makes between the cartoonists and the terrorists is really touching...they were ALL kids....they all cried, the all laughed, they all drew...and somewhere along the way they chose a different path..a path of seclusion and darkness

^ A lot of these terrorists aren't given another perspective. They are given a single viewpoint of how the world works, and in Islamic terrorists' cases it is one of great hatred towards non-Islamics.

I was feeling a bit sketchy for them posting a cartoon of the Prophet of Islam but now that he explained himself it sounds interesting and actually heart felt.

So they did the whole thing to get a reaction out of muslims yet now they're playing the innocent card? Vile

I'm not okay with the bombing, but I'm totally okay with people ripping them to shreds. If you're willing to attack other groups, they have every right to attack you back. Just as long as it's not physical.

The Quran doesn't show any representations of him, and Muslims are aware that depictions of him are prohibited because it then turns into a form of idolatry, which is also prohibited.

oh ok I get hwat you mean. your muslim im assuming. and I get why this can be seen as blasphemous. I have some Moroccan muslim and jewish relatives and I'm sure the muslim ones may be offended a bit.

but I do think this sketch isnt made in a insulting way. although like you said in islam it is wrong to sketch the prophet. but then again we can argue that the cartoonist who sketched it is not muslim so he can sketch him because it is not blasphemous to him. but then again we can argue that even tho things arnt blasphemous to someone should they do it and offend others?

This sketch is an obvious outcry for pity. Anyway, I hate people who say those who are anti Je Suis Charlie are the ones who are thinking backwards. What ever happened to promoting peace and respecting everyone's differences? If anything, the people who are pro Je Suis Charlie are promoting hatred--some unknowingly so--because they're pissed off over the terrorists' attacks. Charlie Hebdo shouldn't be something to defend, and EVERYONE should be offended by the crap they publish.
