“Lady Sings The Blues” is the upcoming third studio album by British singer-songwriter and The X Factor UK runner-up Rebecca Ferguson. It’s scheduled to be released on 9 March 2015 via RCA Records.


This album arrives two years after the release of her latest and not so successful LP “Freedom” and It shall be composed of the favorite songs of the artist, sung in the key of blues.

Can't wait! She's so incredibly talented, "Freedom" was a flawless album and deserved a lot more success than it got. "I Hope" should have been the smash of the decade.~

Ugh a cover album? She's too good for that.

Hoping this is just a filler and she comes back with an album with original material in the 4th quarter during X Factor.

Ugh, I hate cover albums. At least I hope the tracks she chose will be totally different from the original version.

This seems to be a Billie Holiday cover album. That's what I thought at least after I saw her talking about the making of the album.

By far the best artist to come out of X Factor since it begin. A bit skeptical about a cover album but I guess it might work for a large segment of her target audience...

Hopefully new material to come later in the year!
