This song makes me cry, I used to stan so hard for Katy back then Why isn't she writing songs like these ? I've listened to Ghost, BTGOG etc. and they are not bad, but not even close to ToY

TOTGA is probably the only Katy song that comes close

I honestly think most of her best work has come from the OotB era. ToY is great.

I don't disagree, Thinking of you is by far her best song, but TD and PRISM are more solid as a whole albums. From her fun songs, she has yet to top Waking up in vegas and Hot n Cold. (Cali Gurls is the only one on par).

that's what bugs me the most, she can clearly write amazing songs. Now she is held to such standard that she has to always deliver a smash hit and I don't think we will ever get another song like this one.
