She's trying soooo hard to establish a mature image/reputation and to develop a fanbase that's never gonna leave her and that's only gonna break her in the future. Girl, go make some GOOD music and stop with your fake act. Don't come back to us with crap like unconditionally and then expect us to eat up the music you want to make. I can totally see what you're saying but I also think you're exaggerating things a bit. I don't really think Katy's being fake. I think she genuinely does prefer making songs like Unconditionally to songs like Dark Horse. But that's clear to see. I don't think that she really cares about developing a relationship with her fans either. She's made it very clear that she appreciates her fans but she'll never be the type of artist that indulges in her fans and whatnot. I think she knows that she's not that kind of artist, and she doesn't really want to be. She doesn't need to force fans. They'll come and they'll go, and that's okay. For every fan she loses, she'll gain two new ones.

Katy has been a stan of Beyoncé since the beginning, what's the problem? She's not a fake ass popstar who plays the good person in front of her peers and shading them afterwards, she expresses herself(). Ofc Beyoncé acknowledges her, Katy is one of the biggest name in pop or even the biggest one. She just doesn't care, and why would she? She was never asked about Katy in an interview for example...I'm sure Beyoncé likes katy.
