That is not the first time that happened. There are a lot of videos that reached #1 according to their daily ranking, yet they didnt increase in views at all. You just didnt know about it because most people doesnt open threads for each time their platform glitches

Ok, well then explain to me why Unfaithful has 200m views while We Found Love has a measly 400m views (which according to you, Unfaithful would have since pre-vevo views aren't counted) even though it was a much bigger hit, had a much bigger video, and was released in the vevo era?

Actually, i just noticed some of her videos have pre-VEVO views added to the viewcount, although some of them have not. But there is a very easy way to know if the videos have pre-VEVO views added or not. You just have to compare the Youtube stats with the actual viewcount. For example, take Britney´s Womanizer:



In there, you can see that around 80 Million views have been added from the pre-VEVO era, while around 40 Million views come from the post-VEVO era!

I noticed that a lot of pre-VEVO videos had more views in their viewcount than they did in the stats, so i realized they had pre-VEVO views added. But for some reason, that doesnt happen with all videos, some have pre-VEVO views added and some dont. For example, Unfaithful has pre-VEVO views added, yet Disturbia and Umbrella do not.

Either way, the case with Rihanna is very weird. Some of her most iconic hits have less views than her other songs. For example, Unfaithful has more post-VEVO views than Umbrella, and Unfaithful is older and a way lesser hit than the other
