This is what "The Mist" was getting across. We are messing around with God's nature. We are going beyond our capabilities to understand how God's nature works and we plan to mess with it. We shouldn't.

Next we'll try to rip a whole into a new universe and monsters will spew out like "The Mist" and we'll blame the Government for messing with nature that should be kept alone.
